We booked The Stables for a couple of nights, including for it to be used as the bridal getting ready space on the morning of our recent wedding, as it is only 10 mins from Priston Mill. It was absolutely perfect and Nancy went above and beyond to help make it work for us including making space on the drive of the main house to allow wedding suppliers to park. The space was light and bright and surrounded by a gorgeous garden and it felt really private and peaceful. It was very well equipped with everything you’d need and actually seemed a larger space in person than in the pictures! Special thanks go to Nancy for making it extra special for our wedding and including some lovely bubbly in the fridge which was a really thoughtful touch.

This was just the most perfect trip. The house was lovely with stunning views of the lake. Everything was clean and tidy, with everything that’s needed for a few days away. There are many walks you can do from the house and lots of bars/restaurants near by. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again.

Stayed for 3 nights for a get together with old friends. Weather was lovely and so we sat straight by the lake with a beer and spit of fishing. The views are fantastic and the surroundings are beautiful. Inside the place was spotless with lots of Room even with 5 of us inside. All the amenities we required were on hand. Good WiFi meant we were all able to communicate without any issues. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Pure bliss! Walked over to the old boat house for a meal and drinks and then also walked to the Eliot arms for another great meal out. Didn’t want it to end. Would highly recommend this to either a family or group of friends. Awesome!

Great location in the middle of Castle Combe, to stay in a property with so much history was fascinating. The house was clean, everything worked, beds are very comfortable. Marlit replied promptly to our questions making everything very easy. We had a great stay.

Everything was just perfect. Very easy checkin, clear instructions on how to use everything, beautifully furnished with great amenities, loved that we could buy local produce too. Highly recommend staying here if you want to be at one with nature and have a few days to switch off. We will definitely be back!!

Amazing stay! The hut was exactly like the photos and just as described The thoughtful touches Prosecco milk cake hot chocolate and chocolate were lovely and really made us feel at home The hut was well appointed and everything had been well thought through and we did not want for anything The fact the washing up was done for you again added to the experience! The hot tub and view were beautiful and we were so lucky with the weather we made full use of the outdoor space Great recommendations on walks and places to eat! Thank you for a fantastic stay and being an amazing host- you went above and beyond!

We had a lovely weekend away staying in the Annex. It was so good to have 2 joining rooms as 2 couples - everything that we possibly needed is accommodated for. Deborah is extremely helpful and responded to messages quickly. Lovely big comfortable beds and the location is gorgeous - we had a great time! Thank you!

We had a few days away with family and the 2 small Grandchildren. The Grandson loved seeing the birds and water skiing. The Heron was a regular visitor. Wendy was extremely quick helpful in resolving an issue. We loved the location and the house itself and we would book again. A tip would be if you are using the cot, then remember to pack a sheet. I had packed these but its something you might forget.

Beautiful little three level cottage home right in the heart of Bourton on the Water. Full amenities, comfortable beds, Smart TV , dishwasher etc. Low ceilings on the ground floor as expected in a 17th century cottage so not an issue. Highly recommend Captains Cabin for any exploration of the Cotswolds

We spent a blissful week at Badgers End Cottage and from the first instance fell in love with the surrounding secret woodland and beautiful gardens. The Cottage was so cosy and calming, the birdsong was so audible. Carol was the loveliest host you can ever imagine. We were given a tour of the private woodland and her passion for her garden and the wildlife was very inspiring. Carol even made me an incredible cake for my birthday which was such a lovely surprise. We would highly recommend a stay in this picture perfect Cottage…the perfect base from which to explore The wonderful Wye Valley.

Martyn and Rosemary are great hosts, the cottage is so much nicer than the photos and the surrounding is just beautiful. Very easy to explore Cotswold and great villages nearby. Would love to come back again.

We had a great stay at Sara's place. Such a lovely space to have as a base for a couple of days and worked perfectly for us. Very relaxing environment and comfortable bed. Sara was very friendly and helpful, especially making sure we had a few essentials in the kitchen before we arrived so we were all set for our first breakfast. Would very happily stay again and recommend to others.

If Amber Cottage is available for your dates do not hesitate and book quickly you will not regret it. Nicala and Steve are exceptional hosts and their adorable cottage is just perfect, from location to the cottage itself everything is 5 star. The walk into the centre of Stow on the Wold is less than 5 minutes if you don’t get distracted. The cottage is very easy to find with the hosts very clear instructions and photos. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean and so comfortable not to mention quiet and private. Perfect base to discover the beautiful Cotswolds and these Australians really hope to come back one day. Ann's place is incredible- stayed for two nights and there is everything you could possibly need or anticipate in the house. We had a great time - the pool and hot tub were very clean and the house was perfect! Ann was extremely responsive and helpful. Would absolutely book again!

The perfect escape! Farahnaz and Paul are really helpful, very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. The Summerhouse is so secluded and cosy. it really is a proper escape from the "Busy Life" Shakurs on the corner is a great place to eat if you get the chance. Thanks again Farahnaz & Paul, We will be back.

We spent 6 days at Rob’s place with our 3 children. The weather was not our friend but the onsite swimming pool meant we still had a fabulous time. The hot tub was a great addition to the property. The cottage had plenty of room for us all & the spa facilities were fantastic. Great location as well, we had a lovely morning wandering around Cirencester. Rob was super helpful. We used 2 of the recommended places to eat & both were fantastic options. Lovely stay!

Beautiful peaceful spot in the Cotswold countryside. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with great walks straight from the door. The pool was such a fantastic asset and really added to our holiday.

Lovely spot in friar woods , we did a bit of touring around the sites and even managed an evening in bath with a 20min walk to the train station - Jenny and Richard were both very acclimating and made our weekend lovely with ideas and just a lovely feeling, would love to come back and see more of the local walks etc

What a fantastic stay we had at Kate’s place. She was an incredible host, nothing was too much trouble for her. The pictures really don’t show how gorgeous it truly is & it’s so much larger than the pictures show. We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back in the future xx
