At 535m above sea level, the red volcanic soil and a good rainfall ensures a lush environment thrives that is home to a wide range of bird life. The mountain is also home to several vineyards and breweries, a distillery, many many restaurants and cafes, a host of curiosity shops and two farmer and craft markets each month. The mountain caters for those who love nature with many bush walking tracks. It is also the gateway to O’Reillys, Lamington and Binna Burra national parks. Easy access to the Gold Coast glitter strip, beaches, and theme parks. Also easy access to Binnaburra (O'Reillys), Springbrook, Beechmont, Mt Tamborine plus further out West to Canungra, Beaudesert etc. This is a nice spot from which to bike ride with a mountain bike track just across the dam wall.

An absolutely breathtaking house! We loved the view, how spacious the house was and the heated pool. It was so beautiful sitting on the deck at any time of the day and taking in the view. Sarabah Winery was only 5 minutes away which was great for lunch/afternoon drinks and the Canungra town was bout 10/15 minutes. In such a great spot, would highly recommend this house!

Alana was very accommodating- quick and effortless reservation change, our checkin was also quite late and Alana was very understanding of this. I wish I could give this place 100 stars! Truly the most incredible stay — a breathtaking off-grid escape, high in the mountains. This hidden gem is beyond beautiful and every little detail has been so thoughtfully considered. Peta was amazing to communicate with and explained everything so clearly, which made the whole experience completely stress-free. It has everything you need! We left feeling refreshed, grateful, and already dreaming of coming back.
