Fantastic old home built in the 1840's with so much character. Both bedrooms are really well set apart - perfect to have a little space from the kids (or other travelling companions). Also having 2 separate lounge rooms, with TV's was nice as it allows you to spread out a little inside - especially helpful for when the weather is bad. Cafe downstairs, pub just across the road, shops 1 minute walk away, entire town within 5 min walking reach. 10/10 location. Wood fire works a treat in the cold weather. There are at least 3 well stocked second hand/antique stores in town. If history is your thing - this home in Burra is the place for you. Would also recommend the Burra Heritage Passport Key if you have time too - starts just across the road and is a great way to explore. Wayne the host is a top country bloke and communicates quickly through the app/chat.

Superior 1 Bed Apartment (Ambulant)

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Lucinda’s place! Even though we booked last minute, Lucinda was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The house was perfect—so comfortable and homely. Every detail made it feel like a home away from home. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Clare. Thank you, Lucinda, for making our trip so special!!

We loved our stay. The place was beautifully appointed and spotless. The bed was very comfy and we especially loved the big bathroom and little outdoor deck. The layout was lovely with an open feel and we felt so relaxed.

Burra House has everything you could ask for in an Airbnb. Breakfast provisions provided were a real treat. Very generous of the hosts to consider this. Wood for the fire, all amenities and a beautiful garden to enjoy. Beds were extremely comfortable and the furnishings were elegant with a rustic charm. Can highly recommend this property.

The coach house is a beautifully renovated building, full of old charm and modern amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with every utensil needed, including a coffee machine and dishwasher. A log fire and reverse cycle airconditioner keep the elegantly furnished lounge comfortable and warm. There's a balcony and a large deck area to enjoy a morning coffee. The meals at the nearby Bon Accord Hotel were great value. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, Tim was a wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble.

We loved our stay at the Manse in Auburn. What a stunning house in beautiful surroundings. The artwork, books, and furniture made it feel like we were in a well-appointed family home. The breakfast food was fabulous and unexpected. The weather was typical Clare, crisp and cool, so the open fire got a workout. The house is so well appointed and we would stay again - hopefully longer than the 2 nights we had this weekend.
