Great place to stay in Kaikoura. Neat , clean and with great views of the sea and within walking distance of the beach. Near city centre. Will recommend to friends and stay here again if an opportunity presents itself.

My favourite place I’ve ever stayed in Hanmer! So cosy with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Superb view, on a cold afternoon it was lovely to sit inside and watch the dusk falling on the mountains. Location really handy to the village but feels quiet and chill. I look forward to staying there again!

I highly recommend Caitlin’s place! The house is brand new, spotless, and beautifully maintained—everything was so clean and tidy when we arrived. The bed was incredibly warm and comfortable, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. The towels were soft, fluffy, and felt like hotel quality. The home is fully equipped with everything you might need, from kitchen essentials to thoughtful touches that made our stay feel extra cozy. Caitlin was also a great host—very responsive and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, with a great view of the mountains. Very spacious and comfortable room. Spacious bathroom. Great water pressure in the shower. About a 15 minute drive to see the fur seal colonies on the peninsula. Quiet, lovely to hear the birds in the morning. Wish we had stayed here in Kaikoura for a few more days.

This place was perfect for us. It's bigger than it looks in photos and has a separate living space that's so cozy. The view from the porch is unreal- we loved it. It's in a great location as well. We would definitely stay here again!

Not easy to find a great house for 6 people and a dog. This house was great! Our multi-generational group included 3 teenagers, an 81 year old, and a golden retriever. The house was cozy, perfectly clean, and very easy and comfortable for all of us. We got plenty of use out of the great poker chip set and the wood burning stove. Sad to leave. Meg was an excellent host. Very responsive and flexible, and provided a terrific goody basket which was a great surprise. Would definitely recommend this house and would stay again.

Jennifer's place home away home. Felt so comfortable away from home. Each and every thing, she has given importance for the comfort of residents. One need not worry about any thing. She is a wonderful host, waited for us to reach the place and given all the information needed for us and left. She has maintained that place so neat and comfy. We would love to return to Kaikura and stay in Jennifer's place and also recommend this place for every one. Home away home. Wonderful break fast with lots of variety and no one is left out in that spread. She has even taken care of small details for us, when we reached so late. A beautiful air bnb! 6 mum friends and 2 babies thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of space for us all. Modern, clean home that is very well set up. Very clean bathroom and kitchen, nice linen, cosy warm. Elizabeth the host was very helpful and kind too. Would love to be able to stay again.

Words cannot describe the views. Having breakfast on the balcony was incredible. All of us slept very comfortably in the beds. The place was just as described. We wish we had more time to spend. If ever in the area, we will definitely hope this space is available.

Great wee place to stay, nice and warm with the heaters going and to top it off we woke up with snow!! Which was definitely exciting I would say we will be back

No issues checking in or out. Great location and view. Perfect spot for a weekend away with 2 small children, we appreciated the high chair, books and puzzles!
