Not easy to find a great house for 6 people and a dog. This house was great! Our multi-generational group included 3 teenagers, an 81 year old, and a golden retriever. The house was cozy, perfectly clean, and very easy and comfortable for all of us. We got plenty of use out of the great poker chip set and the wood burning stove. Sad to leave. Meg was an excellent host. Very responsive and flexible, and provided a terrific goody basket which was a great surprise. Would definitely recommend this house and would stay again.

Our second time staying at Anthony’s cottage, would definitely recommend and we will likely be back again! Walking distance to the hot springs and restaurants and shops and the cottage is comfortable and well equipped. Grateful to be able to bring our dog on holiday too!

Beautiful home away from home for a relaxing weekend away with friends. Well appointed kitchen, comfy beds, clean and modern bathrooms. We really appreciated the amazing fire which kept the place cozy. Nice quiet location with only a short walk to town. Eva was very accommodating and we would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay overnight before getting the Picton ferry. Easy check in, great hospitality and really convenient location for what we needed!

Such a fun, quirky place with an amazing view! :-) We had a lovely time staying in the wagon and watching the llamas, can happily recommend.

Our family had a fantastic time staying at Richard's place, it really felt like home! There's a lovely fireplace that keeps the house cosy, and plenty of space to hang out and play games. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking up big meals. Richard was extremely responsive while still giving us plenty of space. The local animals were a huge bonus too - we had great fun feeding the pigs and horses. Highly recommended to anyone wanting some peace and quiet just outside of St Arnaud!

Atypical and charming place. Our kids loved sleeping in the old stagecoach garage with the horse stools on display as decoration. Mike and Linda were very welcoming and showed us around the property which has many surprises in store! Despite the rainy weather we had a lovely time!

We had a fantastic stay. Unfortunately it was only for a night but would have happily stayed for a couple of weeks. Linda was easy to deal with & was excellent with communication. It was clean, tidy, well furnished & cozy home.

I think this place was great for us especially with energetic active kids the space was great and was a really nice time and a real treat for my family as it is something i have never ever done before due to how full on my kids are amd being a solo mother. When i get the chance again i will be coming back here as i felt safe comfortable and had no stress knowing my kids could play out side and be a bit louder with out bothering anyone and that made all the difference so thank you lots was the first we holidays to create many more and to create our own family tradition now my grand parents have passed away . Growing up they had a batch in twizel and we made so many memories and happy times so now its my job to carry that on through them we may not have our own batch but we have out home awsy from home and we are so thankful and blessed so thanks Hannah . Let me no of any other places u look after as ill be doing this more and im cumftable with u so thanks true blessing you r

The place and the location were absolutely stunning and we loved tending to and then sitting in the hot tub at sunset.

Leanne was a fantastic host! She has a beautiful home/oasis right by the ocean that everyone should come and enjoy! From the beach out front, to the large deck, morning and afternoon trains passing by (which by the way weren’t that noisy inside) and even the spa! All of it was exactly as we expected! Leanne was prompt in communicating and ensured we had everything we needed! We will definitely be coming back for another stay soon!

What a magical escape Charlie’s cabin has been. Nestled among the trees and mountains, it gave us the peace and beauty we were looking for. We came here—me, my fiancée Jasmine, and my mum—for a special getaway, and we’re leaving with memories we’ll always treasure. From the crackle of the fire to the quiet stillness of the stars above, this place has a soul of its own. Thank you for sharing this little slice of heaven with us.

Amazing place with incredible scenery in both poor and good conditions. Great for an exciting adventure with all of the usual comforts once indoors, really enjoyable to live in a simple and minimal way up in the mountains.

We loved staying at the Villa, the perfect spot for our families to get away. the Spa was an absolute bonus esp with the snow. The house was heated upon arrival which was so welcoming. Hosts were very responsive and helpful. Thank you.

Recommend staying here, was lovely and warm. bachcare was super responsive and quick to give us updated information, so weren’t put out for long.
