A spacious and stylish family home. in a very upmarket sought after location. 10 Minutes from the tunnel into Liverpool city centre and only 5 minutes from rail links into Liverpool city centre. This two storey house comfortably sleeps 14 Adults, there are four bedrooms one with an en-suite, each room has fitted wardrobes. You will need to take the famous 'Ferry Across The Mersey' if you wish to walk. There is a beautiful park just a 2 minute walk from the house and less to the bus stop, shops and amenities. this was my first experience of staying in airbnb in the UK, having done a couple in the USA in New Jersey I felt so at home at Colleen's place. maybe it's because I have a connection with the area, as a child I spent a great deal of time with my grandparents whom lived in leasowe not far away.. and my grandmother and dad are buried in landican cemetery a short distance away. everywhere I walked within Hoylake I felt they present. it was a very emotional experience to be back on Merseyside. As a host Colleen waswonderful she explained everything, and didn't mind if I came in late out in Liverpool from concerts. when I left this morning I was a bit sad , because I realise how much I've missed being on Merseyside. I may live in London but my heart will always be on Merseyside and Liverpool. I thank you for giving me your home for five days it was wonderful and I will come back.

We stayed at Kathy’s lovely home in Birkenhead for one night while attending the Premier League victory parade in Liverpool – and we couldn’t have hoped for a better host. Kathy was incredibly warm and welcoming from the start. Her home was spotless, cozy, and she even made us a delicious breakfast the next morning. Unfortunately, we were very close to the incident at the parade and were quite shaken afterwards. When we returned to collect our car, Kathy kindly invited us in to warm up, gave us a comforting cup of tea and some biscuits, and let us take a moment before heading home. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made a big difference. Kathy’s kindness and hospitality were truly exceptional. We felt so looked after and would definitely stay with her again. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the area – thank you, Kathy!

Felt safe and very comfortable in Tim’s fabulous home. So much to explore in the Wirral and Liverpool. Train service brilliant and clean and lots of options- L'pool, Chester, West Kirby (good charity shops and walk to Hilbre island to see the seals), and Port Sunlight to name a few. Lovely walks on the doorstep In either direction beside the sea or along the promenade by river Mersey, ferry to Liverpool.Also, murals really worth finding on houses and shops in centre of New Brighton - one around the corner from Tim's.

A fabulous trip down memory lane - I used to live on the adjoining road so it was great to revisit as a guest. The room and bathroom were impeccable and we enjoyed every minute. Really convenient for the train - we attended a concert in Liverpool so it was so easy to go by train as it's 10 minute walk to the station. Katinka was extremely flexible as we were able to stay longer - this was much appreciated. Thank you for your hospitality.

Caroline was very helpful, easy to access the property had everything provided that l needed, including breakfast food! I was cycling so she left out a local cycle route map, good bike pump and there was a safe place for my bike which was all much appreciated.
