We had an amazing family time! Beautiful house, comfortable beds, we loved! There is no body wash or shampoo, bring yours. 😊 close to town, very peaceful surroundings.

Such a perfect and private place to celebrate my 30th birthday with my loved ones. The home has a great layout for a girls trip and so many sweet spots to hang out on the porch. The location is also amazing for nature adventures!

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We stayed on the dock or around the fire pit. Mornings were spent drinking coffee on the deck with the gorgeous lake views. Never even turned the TV on. The house was clean and well stocked. There’s lots to do in the area as well. Definitely will be back.

An unforgettable experience, everything was beautiful, waking up in the morning and seeing the deer around the cabin, the sunsets on the balcony, in short, our experience was magical, Amy was very attentive and explained everything in detail, no problems in the cabin, everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, and the rooms were very comfortable with everything ready, I definitely want to come back! Amber has great communication and everything is clearly labeled and she has a book with details on everything and even pamphlets of local things to do. Quiet place and not far from hiking trails. Perfect for someone who wants to be in a slow and quiet place.

Our family of 10 adults, xl dog, and 3 children had a great time. The home was beautiful and had plenty of space for each of us. The game room downstairs was a great place to entertain everyone, and both upstairs living rooms were perfect for family activities. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and easily accommodated our family. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you’d need to cook 3 meals a day. The house is close enough to fun activities that you don’t have to drive for hours to hike or shop, but far enough away you felt like you were in a cozy cabin in the woods. Craftsmanship of the home was impressive.

A wonderful place for families and pets! Our kids had so much fun and were able to have their own spaces in the house. It was kept very nicely and Seth was a great host. Would absolutely recommend for families that wasn’t to feel secluded with close access to stores and local hikes.

We loved our stay at the lodge. There was lots for our 10 grandchildren to do. The lines were fun. Everyone loved the game room and the porches.

Wonderful time in this home, tons of space and close to everything downtown. Lovely location with a peaceful dock to sit out for coffee. Home was comfortable and everything was as described. Thanks again!

Great place and location

We have stayed before, and it was perfect. This time the floors weren't clean, and I am guessing it was the housekeeper that left behind a childs tablet and scooter laying on the deck, we left the tablet on top of the fridge with a note left on the fridge. I definitely recommend a safety gate at the top of the stairs, and better child proofing.

Cute one bedroom cottage with nice views of the lake. We really enjoyed having access to the two kayaks that came with the rental. Little kitchen & living space were perfect for the two of us - liked the convenience of being able to cook meals there. Overall really enjoyed our stay & the proximity of the cottage to all the great outdoor hiking & sightseeing was amazing!

My family and I enjoyed ourselves very much at this sweet little cabin by the lake. We felt very much at home. The other cabins and houses weren't too close and it was pretty private. We walked to the lake a few times and went fishing and swimming. Everything is exactly as Lynn and Eric describe in the black binder on the coffee table. The kitchen was stocked with crock pot, toaster, blender, cooking utensils and pots and pans, plenty of plates, bowls, cups. Everything we needed. Even a few food items, salt, pepper, oil, some seasonings, syrup, and some other things. The bedrooms were clean and the bed my hubby and I shared was so comfy. The bathroom was stocked with plenty of towels and washcloths. It was nice and clean. We bonded at this beautiful little cabin, had lots of laughs. He brought me here for my birthday and we hope to make it a birthday tradition.

Charming home with plenty of space to explore and relax outside. We loved being able to walk down to the creek and picnic down there. Plenty of room for everyone to stretch out. Hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful to find great local stops. Perfect home base to come home to after long days of hiking.

We've stayed with Alan and Hannah multiple times over the years and have never been disappointed. This not a fancy, upscale residence. It's quaint, comfortable, clean, and perfect for those who aren't overly pretentious. It had been 2 years since we last visited, and they had made numerous updates to the house. In fact, each time we've stayed they have made a change or two to improve the residence. Again, I can't say enough about the hosts or the location. We'll be back again soon.

If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to come to in the north Georgia mountains of Sky Valley. Beautiful views especially at sunset, hearing the chapel bells ringing, watching the humming birds fly around during the day and at night the bats, and friendly neighbors. The unit was roomy and comfortable. There were a few light bulbs burned out upon arrival and our host was very responsive and a maintenance gentleman was there soon to replace them. Lots of local activities and great restaurants in nearby Highlands and Franklin, NC and Clayton, GA. For walkers the Sky Valley golf course closes at 7 p.m. and it's great walking or jogging around the beautiful course.

Gorgeous mountain retreat is a perfect way to describe this property. I found everything in the description of this property to be true. In my opinion Karla’s description was very humble and we found the property to be much better than expected. Entire family celebrated my father’s 90th birthday, and found the house plenty spacious for all of us. With full living space on the main level and downstairs we never felt crowded.The house was immaculate and very well stocked with items that were above and beyond any other property I’ve ever stayed in right down to the firewood. Directions were easy to follow and communication was always done in a timely fashion. If you want to relax, do nothing, enjoy the views this is the place for you. If you want to be active, go hiking, play golf, tennis, etc. this is the place for you. If you want to grill out and watch football with the gang, this place is for you. So if you have a large group, and you are looking for a mountain getaway, I recommend that you stop looking and book this property NOW!!

We come to Murphy all the time to visit family. We will definitely book again here if it’s available!

We loved our stay over Thanksgiving with our kids and grandkids. The house was comfortable with plenty of room and fantastic views of the lake below and the mountains that surrounded us. Easy to get into Murphy for shopping and restaurants. We loved the Chop House!! We will book this house again!

Perfect location for our annual trout fishing trip.

We were having our family Christmas get together and was so happy that the house was still beautifully decorated for Christmas. That made our gathering extra special! The house was perfect for our group!

We love this Creekside Cottage! Pam has everything you need there and we love to shop at the market, come back, cook and sit by the creek. We are very comfortable in this cottage and we will use again.

We enjoyed the stay and so did our dog! She especially enjoyed the fenced in area while we took a swim in the pool. It felt right at home. We loved being able to go for walks and being able to fish. It felt perfect and peaceful. Gilda was a great host and was a very sweet woman, will definitely have to come again!
