Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. legacy landing has a brand new 450 sq ft. shouse resting atop of 110 acres of beautiful woodlands. The shouse is covered from wall to ceiling in pine and cedar accents harvested from our forest and sleeps 5. Inside find a fully furnished kitchenette with indoor griddle/grill, air fryer and microwave. There are two lofts upstairs with a queen bed on one side and a twin bed on the other. Down stairs is a queen futon. 2 fully stocked fishing ponds.

High-speed internet with smart TVs in both bedrooms and living room. Outdoor pool (seasonal), hot tub and massage chair. We love dogs too, so we provide a dog run (there is a pet fee). For our fishermen- there is off street parking for your boats.

American House 1854- Steamboat Landing Suite

The whole group will be comfortable in this spacious and unique boutique hotel. The American House, built in 1854 is the oldest standing building in the city of McGregor! Dr. Lucy Hobbs the first woman to graduate a dental college in the world had her dental office in this building from 1862-1865! You must bring what you need or plan to travel 8 miles to Elkader (Dollar General, Wilkes Grocery, pit stop gas station)or strawberry point (Dollar General, Casey’s and Nadings gas stations)
