This is a newly refurbished 1 bed first floor apartment in Retford with its own private off road parking space. The apartment is light and spacious and is in a quiet area, but only a 5 minute walk from Retford Town Centre with pubs, shops and amenities and only a 5 minute walk from Retford Train Station. You will have the apartment to yourself with a private entrance from an external staircase. The apartment has been newly renovated in 2020 and sleeps 2 with room for a cot.

We hope that you will enjoy your stay in this unique cottage with stunning views and spacious layout for 2. Holly cottage has under floor heating throughout which is powered by a ground source heat pump ,hence no carbon monoxide alarm is required. Holly Cottage was built in 2015 but our main house was built in the 1880s. We feel the character of the cottage compliments the main house. Gringley is a fabulous place to walk and explore, the pub is only 300 yards away.

Basils Barn is situated on the grounds of a 17th century manor, surrounded by a picturesque 60 acre estate. The bedroom is directly attached to Basils stable, where there is a doorway in between the two spaces. In the paddocks we also have a herd of Highland cows, Hebridean sheep, horses, pigs, chickens and Norwegian Forrest cats. Our animals are mostly rescued and all of our animals are kept strictly as pets.
