The building has evolved from a teacherage to a grain bin to a Cafe & now the tiny guesthouse you see. Numerous walking trails on the 160acres double for XC skiing and snowshoeing in winter. Property is shared with a cabin, campsites and a treehouse.

Named for an original settler of Strachan valley, this cabin is completely modern but built in the traditional style of the homesteaders of Strachan Valley. Perched at the end of the road, along the edge of the hillside, you will have privacy and comfort. Enjoy the mountain view from your front patio while the fire crackles beside you. Log cabins have full kitchen, bathroom, in floor heat and sleeps 4.

Cozy cabin with full amenities surrounded by crown land. Bring your quads and ride directly from the property trails everywhere. Relax with the whole family and roast marshmallows by your own private firepit. This is cabin#1 of 3 cabins on the property. Pets are very welcome as each cabin is private and has lots of room to play on. Walking trails are also on the property with a lookout of the mountains. There is a $25 pet cleaning fee please add your pet to the reservation when booking.
