Casstevens Homestead Farm House (Entire House)

Casstevens Homestead House located on 145 acres near Mansfield. great for long walks in the country, or a place to get away. This is a working farm with livestock. House is approximately 150 years old, dating back 5 generations. There are large back pastures for walking out in the country. Pets are welcome, but we do have Great Pyrenees on the farm to protect our chickens. They are very friendly but the will probably greet you at the door. We can stable your horses for riding on request.

Within an easy walk to Chandor Gardens and Historic Downtown. The home was created from local sandstone, petrified wood, and ammonite fossils and sits on a third of an acre. The house is near to a golf course at Kirtley park and we have golf clubs available for our guests. Across the street there is a lake and our guests can use the canoes and kayaks we have at the house.

A couple’s getaway or just relaxing with the family at this peaceful country cabin. Take a break from street lights and sidewalks and come see the stars that are down our dirt road. Only an hour SW of Fort Worth, Texas. It’s about 45 minutes to Glen Rose and the Dinosaur park. This cozy cabin get away is nestled along the Brazos river and 18 minutes from historic downtown Granbury. You can even come for a middle of the week getaway!

Cute cabin located on a working farm. Enjoy the horses and cows grazing right outside. Comfortable 2 bedrooms with a sleeping loft for the kids (horizontal only for adults). Hosts live on the same property so we will usually be available if you need anything during your stay. We prefer a low-distraction lifestyle, but a TV is available on request. Limited outdoor space available.

In fact we love this neighborhood so much that we live one block over. You will also enjoy being centrally located.
