They are log cabins, entirely constructed from timber, which gives off a beautiful natural scent. Their position puts them in easy reach of the coast, the City of Cardiff and The Bay and many more places of interest to visit, all within 30 minutes drive!

Our cosy cottage on the edge of Blaengarw village, in a valley surrounded by mountains, and small lakes. Amazing walking country on the doorstep with dramatic views, and we are dog-friendly (but sorry, no cats). Real fire, Netflix, DVDs & books for huddled nights in. Great cycling with riverside rides and mountain trails. Shop, pub & takeaway in the village. Designer outlet, Odeon cinema, nature reserves and castles all a short drive. And we live round the corner for any advice or help!

Lovely cottage, clean and modern inside. Plenty of towels! On a quiet street and secure parking at rear. Wonderful to sit in the rear conservatory and look up at the mountain. Great location for plenty of waterfall walks, Zip World and 40 minutes to the sea at Ogmore. We used the Chinese takeaway within walking distance and excellent breakfasts at Cwm Farm Shop.

Fantastic house! Very clean and tidy, comfy beds, fresh towels and all the basics like milk, tea/coffee, shampoo etc which just made everything so easy. Very close to town less than 5 min walk plenty of restaurants, take away, pubs and shops/newsagents. Easy parking on side road and Alison was very helpful and responsive. Close to Pen y Fan and Waterfall walk as well as lots of other attractions. Felt safe as 3 women travelling and really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend!

We were extremely impressed, it is in a financially poor part of Wales but this was a wonderful find. The hosts were second to none, friendly and helpful. The local pubs were welcoming. Wales has beautiful mountains and we went for drives admiring the scenery. We were not looking for a action packed holiday but a break from the hustle and bustle of home. There was most definately a welcome in the hillside. Would love to return but stay a little longer next time. Thank you so much John and Yvonne for renting your beautiful accommodation.
