We are centrally situated in the Garden Route: 25 km from Knysna, 35 km from George. The house is close to Sedgefield beaches (Myoli Beach and Swartvlei Estuary). Frisgewaagd Guest Quarters is good for couples; we love children and pets, but since the garden does not have a safe play area we cannot accommodate them. The guest room is spacious, with a small kitchenette (refrigerator, microwave oven, kettle, induction cooker) and lounge area. Guest quarters have a private (separate) entry.

Malcolm is an exceptional host, exhibiting excellent communication skills, grace, and genuine warmth. We highly recommend a stay at Ned's; the home is lovely and peaceful, with a beautiful garden enjoyable for children and pets. Our stay was precisely the peaceful respite we city dwellers needed—a tranquil place to relax and breathe in the fresh air. The Sedgefield community is also welcoming and serene. We would gladly return to Malcolm's home. While we did not find any chameleons in the garden, the search for them was genuinely entertaining. Upon entering, we appreciated the calming music playing on the television; it truly enhanced the ambiance and décor. We felt so at home that we were comfortable inviting friends over for a barbecue. Peter's welcoming presence after check-in was also greatly appreciated, ensuring everything was in order. Malcolm's home will certainly see much more of us, our friends, and family, as we will enthusiastically recommend it to them.

The location is spectacular. Immersed in nature you take your first real breath of fresh in ages. The view and the sounds relax your soul, and it feels like true freedom from the stress of every day life. Matthew was an awesome host, he gave us our space, but also made us feel comfortable enough to ask for anything we needed. The Gite has everything you need, and we never once had to think about anything. It's a truly wonderful place where you can feel the care that's gone into keeping nature at the helm. The beach is a short walk, and a lovely one. It was the perfect start to 2020, and I feel relaxed for the first time in years.

The setting is peaceful, scenic, and perfectly placed to enjoy all that the Garden Route has to offer. The house itself is truly beautiful—thoughtfully designed, exceptionally maintained, and filled with character. The photos don't do this beautiful cottage justice. It's spacious, comfortable and has stunning views. The kitchen is well equipped and a lovely space to cook in. The cottage is on the ground floor of their home with a 2 step access to a large deck where you can sit and enjoy the beautiful views and surrounding nature. Maatjie and her husband are lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend their beautiful Airbnb.
