Wir haben eine unvergessliche Woche bei Joanne und Tony verbringen dürfen. Die beiden sind wunderbar und bringen britische Gastfreundschaft mit umbrisch-toskanischem Flair in Perfektion zusammen. Das Pizza-Event war großartig und ist absolut empfehlenswert. Wir durften Ende April auch schon den makellosen Salzwasserpool mit tollem Ausblick nutzen. Unsere Wohnung war überaus charmant, sauber, ruhig und urgemütlich mit guten Betten. Sie war groß genug und ausreichend ausgestattet für 4 Personen, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Ein Smart-TV und sehr zuverlässiges Internet komplettierten den tollen Gesamteindruck. Highlight waren natürlich jederzeit der überwältigende Fernblick ins wunderschöne Umland bis nach Orvieto und die beiden Gastgeber, denen man die Leidenschaft anmerkt. Aufgrund der abgeschiedenen Lage sollte man mobil sein, um etwas unternehmen zu können. Aber wer das ist, kann in Casala Zeno für eine Zeit lang wahres Glück finden.

THE BEST! My first view out the small terrace was possibly the most beautiful I will ever see: a large mountainside of fields, olive and grape vineyards, quaint homes and large monasteries, winding roads and long high speed passenger trains! Inside, the design and materials of this home cannot be beat: a beautiful combination of 3000 year old history stocked full of modern comforts! Open the doors and windows and feel the breeze waft through smelling of honeysuckle and jasmine. Giovanni’s Castle on the Rock is just amazing. We especially were interested in the Orvieto tuff caves dug by the Bronze Age Etruscans. Beneath our feet were two floors of these caves, beautifully finished and lit with marble and tile floors and steps. Nearby were two more remarkable systems of caves: Il Labirinto and Della La Cava. The latter is less than a block away. Both are far better than the Orvieto Underground! Treat yourselves to this delightful discovery! It’s the perfect rest stop in a medieval city!

A super cute place to stay, while it was just outside of the main town of Montepulciano, it was very peaceful and lovely home with plenty of character. Pier Luigi was a gracious host and even gave us welcome and departing gifts. We loved our stay here, Thank you Pier for your hospitality.

Sabrina was the perfect host. Her home was wonderful and comfortable. Exactly as described. The location and views of the surrounding hills was spectacular. Amazing sunset! Her recommendation for us to eat at Al Pozzo Etrusco Ristorante was spot on. We used her name and the restaurant made us a reservation to eat. We used her recommendations on where to visit in Orvieto. Thank you Rosetta for such a memorable stay! Will stay here again if we come back to Orvieto!

Wir waren sieben Nächte in der Unterkunft und haben uns wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation war sehr gut und Maurizio hilfsbereit und der Empfang herzlich (inklusive Kuchen). Das Haus und die Umgebung sind sehr schön, man hat einen tollen Blick in die Landschaft und kann kleine Wanderungen vom Haus aus machen. Auf der Terrasse gibt es Sitzmöglichkeiten, in der Sonne und im Schatten von Bäumen. Supermärkte und Orvieto sind mit dem Auto schnell erreichbar. Empfehlenswert sind Ausflüge nach Bolsena und Civitia di Bagnoregio, die innerhalb einer halben Stunde Fahrtzeit erreichbar sind. Leider konnten wir den Pool nicht nutzen, da das Wetter noch zu kühl war. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Our recent stay at Palazetto di Marmo was nothing short of magical! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning views that surrounded the villa and the charming little village. Traveling with a group of six, we found the villa to be beautifully appointed, offering both comfort and luxury. The sophisticated and masterful interior design truly set Palazzetto di Marmo apart. Each room was designed with exquisite taste and attention to detail. The outdoor terrace and the adjoining pool area provided perfect spots for relaxation. Our days were filled with adventure as we embarked on various hiking trails and visits to nearby vineyards and historic towns. The hosts at Palazzzetto di Marmo went above and beyond in providing us with everything we needed. From the warm welcome to the thoughtful recommendations on local attractions, we felt well taken care of at all times. In summary, our stay at Palazzetto di Marmo exceeded every expectation. L'alloggio del signor Piero si trova sulle colline poco fuori Orvieto e gode di un panorama splendido. Il posto è l'ideale per chi, come noi, ha un cane, anche di grossa taglia, perché la proprietà è recintata e lo spazio a disposizione dei cani è davvero ampio. L'appartamento è dotato di tutto il necessario per trascorrere un soggiorno rilassante, immersi nella natura. La posizione è strategica per visitare diverse destinazioni dell'Umbria, della Maremma e della Tuscia. Il signor Piero è stato un padrone di casa gentile e disponibile, con cui è sempre stato facile comunicare. Consigliato al 100%

This is a beautifully and tastefully renovated apartment in a great country location. Perfect for relaxed stay and as a base for seeing Orvieto. All facilities are of high standard. Everything worked. Wifi was very fast too. The hosts were great.
