House holiday rentals in Columbus

The house worked great for our needs. It was close to everything in Starkville but once in it, felt like we were out of the city. We enjoyed the view of the lake while sitting on the back porch. The communication with Katie was really good. I only had one small item during the stay that she responded to immediately. Although we did not make use of the extended time offered for access to the property it was extremely nice to have that offer. Thanks for the use of your house. We would recommend this property.

Todd was onsite to help with food delivery just prior to check in- the place is spacious and todd is so helpful! There are waterfowl on the lake so it's very serene ! Will be planning another family get together here! Spacious area with wonderful gift basket to greet us! Views from large picture windows are amazing! The house was clean and comfortable!! Quick to get to Ms state functions or fun restaurants! We were so pleased!!!

The location was fabulous! You could not ask for better. Very close to MSU Stadium and downtown shopping. There is also a neighborhood Walmart right down the street. Literally everything was within 2 miles. The house was gorgeous, love the master bathroom and open kitchen! Having 2 living rooms was extremely useful with kids. We had a great time in the pool and it was well maintained. The kitchen appliances were very high end and fully equipped. We will definitely be returning!

What. A. Property. This was a very last minute booking and I didn’t have high expectations of what I would find during Super Bulldog weekend, but WOW. This place was absolutely unreal. The pool, the grill, the hot tub, the basketball court - all insane amenities that we took full advantage of! There is a pool slide for kids and the host provides a basketball for the court which is very appreciated and the outdoor kitchen is absolutely TO DIE for. We grilled and the charcoal grill was amazing! The host was super responsive to anything we needed. Any issues were addressed promptly. The beds are very comfortable and the master suite is the size of some apartments, haha. My favorite room was the bunk room though where I stayed with my two kids. It is DARK - a must have for small children that still take naps. The area is very safe and the house is at the back of the property so you feel secluded and safe even though you are minutes from an aldi and town. The three car garage helps!

This house is located in a perfect neighborhood! Pool is nice! This place could not have been better.

Peggy is amazing! She is friendly, helpful, and just the sweetest. Her place was peaceful, clean, beautiful, and like no other place we've stayed. We instantly felt like we were at home. All of her farm animals are just an added bonus- it was so neat to see them living their best life. Inside the Oasis, the amenities were over the top (i.e. farm fresh eggs in the fridge) and so much thought was put into all the "extras". Lastly, we have never been to a more dog-friendly location. There were dog-friendly specific blankets for the bed and couch so our puppies could feel right at home too! The yard was fenced in and there was a shaded area for the puppies. Would MOST DEFINITELY stay again!

Paradise on the Prairie is a beautiful place to stay! We felt right at home. Would have loved to jump into the pool while we were there - but it was too cold outside!! 🥶. We will definitely be back!

Everything was exactly how described. My family had a great time very peaceful very spacious. We barbecued and enjoyed the pool. if you’re just looking for a relaxing getaway, this is most definitely the place to stay. The house is beautiful. I will most definitely be staying again. Jody the host was amazing. Checked on us throughout our trip to make sure we didn’t need anything. And always responded in a timely manner.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Allen's place. This home is as pictured and is in a great location. The home has nice open floor plan, and tastefully decorated and very comfortable. It was the perfect place for our family to celebrate our daughter's graduation from MS State. Allen is a friendly and responsive host. Thank you Allen for sharing your beautiful home with us!

I enjoyed staying there, I was impressed by how well the place look and by its being 2 blocks from my sister’s house. Samantha responded in a timely manner if I had questions. I also love that she had tea, water ect. For her guests I will definitely be telling people about this place and suggest that instead of driving to Columbus or checking into a local motel book this Airbnb, All 5’s

Dana was a life saver! Long story short, VRBO had to cancel a reservation (that had been secured since December for my daughter’s college graduation) due to being unable to make contact with the host for our check in instructions. I then found Dana’s place on AIRBNB and contacted her with our situation. She immediately sprung into action to get us into her place for two nights so that we could attend the graduation. Her place is very clean and comfortable and the setting is so serene and beautiful! The lake and fishing were wonderful! The outdoor covered gathering place with TV, grill, and ceiling fan were just great!

Family visiting and to see State vs Mizzou game. We had 8 people plus a baby, house was perfect space for all of us. Very quite and peaceful. House is just as pictured, we'd definitely stay here again.

Kim's place was perfect while we visited our daughter for her graduation from MSU. It was a short drive from Starkville, but the price point was great considering it was graduation week. The place has the perfect southern charm, it was very quiet and the horses were fun to watch. Everything was clean and had everything we needed to cook up breakfast each day. Kim was very responsive and friendly and gave clear instructions. If our daughter decides to stay near Starkville a bit longer, this will definitely be a place to revisit for our next stay!

We were in town for a wedding and Pleasant Place was perfect for our needs. It was such a large space, very clean, comfortable beds, we enjoyed the firepit out back and the grill. Very quiet and peaceful. Definitely recommend this home.

I would highly recommend Denise’s place. I was in town for a funeral and the accommodations were excellent! She responded fast to questions and her place was exceptional.

Place was very clean and very spacious. Devin was Awsome at communicating and giving every detail and communicates.

My family and I haven’t had a peaceful country scenery like this in awhile. It was worth the stay and we felt right at home. We will definitely look you back up in the future for our stay.

My family and I make a 10 hr drive from Fl to Ms every May. We usually stay at a hotel, but decided to try an Airbnb this time. After a long drive this property was exactly what we needed. The property was easy to find and check in was super easy. The host is very responsive! The home was clean, spacious, and stocked with necessities. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting the Starkville area. We were super close to restaurants and shopping. I think my family would agree with me when I say this property is a 10/10.

Great place to stay with lots of yard and parking. Great bedrooms and spacious living area. Close to everything but not right in the middle of traffic! Only downside is the 1 bathroom got a little tight with 7 people, but we made it work!
