The room has it's own private entrance and is separate to the owners house. A continental breakfast of cereal and pastries will be served to your room each morning at a time to suit you between 08.00 - 10.00. The Garden Room is a private, cosy apartment that's perfect for couples in search of a quiet break or visitors looking to explore the area. It has basic cooking facilities, a king bed, wood burning stove and a walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. We have reliable wifi, no tv and an ok mobile signal. Lovely up here this time of year and plenty of wildlife to be seen - the other morning while drinking my coffee I watched a pair of hares, leaping and sparring in the front yard - just great.

It’s just that we know that the main reason so many guests return to the Pottery is simply because of where it is. The Pottery nestles next to the Longmynd, a 6,000 acre area of National Trust moorland. An area of outstanding natural beauty, the scenery and views are stunning. And you're just 5 minutes drive from the supermarket and amenities of Church Stretton.

This is a great location for lovers of both town and country. Only a short distance to the magnificent Shropshire Hills which offer excellent hiking and cycling and also only a short drive to Shrewsbury Town Centre which is famous for its medieval buildings, Norman castle and Abbey. The town is great for shopping and socialising and hosts a large number of independent retailers, excellent restaurants, traditional pubs and cocktail bars. We have good internet access.
