After long days of sightseeing, the pool was a refreshing retreat. The panoramic view over the valley is truly breathtaking. Host: Lorenzo is an outstanding host — friendly, responsive, and fluent in English. He was proactive and helpful throughout our stay. The house includes a detailed guidebook he created with handpicked recommendations for local shops, markets, restaurants, farms, and sights. It made planning our days effortless. Bottom line: If this listing is available — don’t hesitate. Book it. 10/10 would recommend!

We loved our stay at Michaela’s house. The views were beautiful and it was a nice and relaxing atmosphere. Great location, very short walk to the town or easy bus ride into the center of Florence. We will definitely be back!

Ein unvergesslicher Aufenthalt im Herzen der Toskana! Die Wohnung liegt traumhaft schön in der Natur – umgeben von sanften Hügeln, Weinbergen und unzähligen Olivenbäumen, die in der Sonne silbern schimmern und das Landschaftsbild einfach magisch machen. Die Aussicht ins Tal ist atemberaubend schön – man könnte stundenlang einfach nur dastehen und schauen. Der 28 Meter Pool? Besser geht es nicht – perfekt gelegen mit Panoramablick, absoluter Ruhe und einer Atmosphäre, die zur puren Entspannung einlädt. Was diesen Ort aber wirklich besonders macht, sind die Menschen: Jacopo, Sophia und ihre Kinder haben uns mit einer so herzlichen Offenheit empfangen, dass wir uns sofort wie bei guten Freunden gefühlt haben. Es ist einfach schön, solchen Menschen zu begegnen – authentisch, warm und voller Lebensfreude. Und dann war da noch Luba, die Schäferhündin – ein echtes Herz auf vier Pfoten! Sie hat uns jedes Mal mit solcher Freude empfangen, dass wir sie sofort ins Herz geschlossen haben.

Great house with amazing views. We used the pool a lot as it was very hot during our stay. Francesco and Serena were very nice and helpful. They booked a cooking class for us, which I highly recommend. The location is very convenient for visiting Florence, as it only takes about half an hour by train from Rufina.

Norma was an absolute treasure, and her home and family were lovely. The property sits overlooking a lovely castle and a beautiful church with great views on the other side. The property has a great pool with plenty of privacy or interaction with the family, I only wish I spoke more Italian to be able to sit and chat with her lovely in-laws! Norma offered great recommendations for day trips, and overall the local area was great to explore. My only advice would be the usual: rent a smaller car to make life easier! Sitting on the patio overlooking the castle, with a glass of wine, is a memory we will never forget, and is highly recommended. Whether during the day or after the sun has gone down and the fireflies comes out (weather permitting) it's a Tuscan treat you won't want to miss. We truly felt like a part of the family and would love to return to her home the next time we come back. Truly a wonderful experience!

Giacomo greeted us right away once we areived to his beautiful home. Him and his wife navigated us throughout the home and described how to use all the amenities. From the moment we arrived, we were mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside and Florence in the distance. The villa itself is stunning—spacious, elegantly decorated, and equipped with every amenity you could need. The outdoor terrace was our favorite spot, where we enjoyed morning coffee with panoramic views and evening wine under the stars. How can we even put into words what an incredible experience this was! Antonella was kind and helpful, and her home is just stunning. She made us feel so at home even with our limited Italian. She prepared us a home cooked, four-course meal one night and it was absolutely delicious. She even gave us the leftovers so we could have them for breakfast the next day. The villa was breathtaking and in a perfect location to visit beautiful towns in Tuscany like Pienza, Montepulciano and San Gimignano. We especially loved the pool and visiting with the animals. This was a bucket list stay for us and worth every penny!

Stella nos recebeu muito bem, foi simpática e prestativa. A casa estava muito limpa e organizada. O espaço e aconchegante. O lugar é extraordinário, muito bonito, com natureza exuberante e uma vista maravilhosa. Stella recomendou lugares para visitar e restaurantes da região que gostamos muito. Very peaceful and beautiful views from the rooms. Raffaella’s breakfast was very good and much appreciated! She gave amazing local food recommendations that are walkable from her house. She also helped us find parking in the city of Florence!

This home is amazing for a nice get away from the busy downtown Florence. You have to take the bus to get down to the main Florence area and attractions but the buses run every ten minutes or so. It is a little bit of a walk to the bus stop in the town at the bottom of the hill in Settignano and yes the other reviews were right, it's a bit of a steep climb but much easier and quicker than getting a taxi up there. We had a bit of an issue with taxis wanting to go that far up the mountain. But the kitchen is great, everything you need if you want to go down to the local grocery store Coop and cook a nice meal. We even came back one night after so much walking and exploring downtown Florence that my husband wanted to get back to the house to relax in quiet and peace. There are 3 bedrooms and they each have their own bathroom with walk in showers. There is washing machine but no dryer.

What a beautiful and special place in Tuscany! You can sit and imagine living here hundreds of years ago as you enjoy all of the details Angela has provided to make it comfortable and abundant. The pictures don't do it justice...the place is larger and more embracing than the photos. Angela cared a lot and when a few little things were not quite right, she made them right. This is a beautiful and top place to stay to enjoy the Tuscany countryside, not far from Florence and all it offers. The town is charming and the folks were kind to us. We did, as one reviewer suggested, enjoy wine at the community center late one night and great sandwiches in the day! Make sure to explore the town in the day and take time to be a part of it.

Schöne und geräumige Unterkunft. Viel Platz und ruhig gelegen inmitten einer Wohnanlage. Auto ist notwendig. Ab Pontessieve ist Florenz dann gut mit dem Zug erreichbar. Pamela hat viele Vorschläge für Aktivitäten gemacht und schnell auf Fragen und Wünsche reagiert. Es war ein gelungener Aufenthalt für uns🍀

Where to start? I truly can't say enough good things about this property. It exceeded expectations in every way. From start to finish, our time here was a delight. Amanda was responsive, helpful, and accommodating. The location is remote, and a bit of adventure to get to, but Amanda had communicated that and we were prepared with the proper rental car that made it a breeze. The house is beautifully appointed, has every amenity, and lots of perfect spaces for both quiet moments and areas to gather with your group. The outdoor spaces and pool area are lovely, beautifully landscaped, and the views are spectacular. Book this place; you won't be sorry.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella villa per un week end fra amici. La posizione é perfetta per raggiungere Firenze in pochi minuti. L'alloggio é incantevole, con tutti i comfort a disposizione per passare un soggiorno memorabile. L'host é stato da subito disponibile e gentile e pronto ad accogliere le nostre richieste!

La casa è molto accogliente e spaziosa. La cucina ben attrezzata, la camera da letto con materasso e cuscini molto comodi, il bagno molto spazioso e soprattutto estremamente pulito, come in generale tutta la casa, pulitissima e profumatissima. La casa inoltre rimane molto fresca, nonostante le temperature elevate che abbiamo trovato durante il nostro soggiorno. Si trova in collina a due passi da Firenze, in un borgo super tranquillo circondato da ulivi. Irene è stata sempre gentile e molto disponibile anche a darci consigli su un meccanico in zona in quanto abbiamo avuto problemi con la nostra auto. Unico piccolo appunto: purtroppo si sentono i “rumori” provenienti dal piano di sopra… chi non è mattiniero, potrebbe essere svegliato.

La casa está en buenas condiciones y muy equipada para una estadía confortable. Andrea e Ilaria son muy afectuosos y nos sorprendieron con un detalle "dulce" de bienvenida. Desde la locación es muy fácil tomar el bus para Florencia . Recomendable para personas con movilidad reducida.

We were a family of six and the property fit us perfectly. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a big plus. The washer and dryer came in handy at the end of a 14 day trip. We walked everywhere no taxis were needed. Many good restaurants, shopping and sightseeing in walking distance. We would definitely stay there again. Communication with host always had a quick response.

Fantastic airbnb in the heart of Florence! Walkable distance to all main attractions- incredibly beautiful restored apartment which felt more like a house as it is on two floors. Without a doubt the best airbnb i have ever staid at

WOW, you will not be disappointed if you want a beautiful Tuscan view in a well appointed accommodation with thoughtful and responsive hosts. We were a week at Jane and Giampiero’s and were sad to leave when the time came, you can loose yourself here in the peaceful countryside. The beds and bedding were comfortable, the kitchen had everything needed for meal preparation, comfortable seating by a nice cozy fireplace, and outdoor seating. Jane was the supreme host, she made bookings for us, trip recommendations and more. There are too many positives to list, my best recommendation is to book - would love to go back.

We loved staying here! Elisabetta was a very kind and helpful host, and the space was easy to find and adorable inside. It was a nice walkable distance to everything too. Would definitely recommend!
