Overall, it was a great stay! The location was perfect and close to town. The cabin itself was exactly as described and clean. However, I will note that it was right on the road which was slightly noisy, but not too disrupting for sleeping purposes. Location on the road made it easy to bring in luggage and get in/out when going to different activities.

This location was the perfect spot for our girls getaway. Between the privacy, fire pit, and hot tub we had our own piece of heaven. The views in this area are breathtaking. Plenty of room and amenities!

From the views to the hot tub, this was the perfect cabin for a much needed getaway. The large screened in porch was just fantastic. Eureka Springs is just a short drive down possibly the windiest road you’ll ever drive. The town is filled with good food, quaint shops, and nice people. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to our friends. A+

The sunrise is supreme. The cabin details were well thought out and they had almost anything you could want. The kitchen is well stocked with extras like oil, coffee, filters, sandwich bags, and plastic cutlery. Sharp knives, Ninja coffee maker, laundry supplies, a lighter for the stove/grill/fire pit, and more. The AC worked well. The storms caused a tree to fall over the driveway and flooded out the hot tub. They were quick to answer and address the issues we had related to the storm. The turn-off is a bit unexpected, so read the access instructions carefully before you get there. It was easy to find with the instructions provided. The location was perfectly central to everything we wanted to do: Buffalo River, MTB at Ponca/Upper Buffalo, waterfalls south of Jasper, hiking and fishing, and Horseshoe Canyon Ranch (definitely look into the Via Ferrata!!!) We will absolutely stay here again.

We loved it. We came to the area for hiking and canoeing, and while we didn't get to do a LOT of that because of the weather and rain, we still had a fantastic time because we were able to get away, play games, and just relax. We were really impressed with the cabin. The big front porch was great for watching the rain and drinking coffee. The hot tub was great for relaxation. He had everything we needed, and was super friendly and helpful - thank you Davis! The driveway to get to the house may not be for every person or vehicle, but we did not mind. It was totally doable with 4x4, and Davis has spent a lot of time, money, and effort improving it (and is still working on it even over the weekend we were there) - raging flood waters don't take it easy on anyone. Thanks again Davis, for a fantastic place to get away from everything!

A beautiful, quiet hidden gem! We found comfort in this cozy cabin while it rained during our stay. The place was clean, easy to find but just hidden enough to enjoy wildlife, and natures peace & quiet. Ray was a great host. 10/10 recommend this for a get-away!

Our family stayed here for 5 nights and it was perfect! After exploring all day, it was the perfect place to come back to. Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful, and the host is very responsive. Would definitely recommend!

We absolutely loved staying at this cutely decorated and comfortable airbnd. The location is nestled at the back of the property and offers a lot of privacy. The scenery is gorgeous. We needed to ask the Host some questions and she promptly responded and even drove over to reassure us that the water levels for the creek would be safe. We will definitely be booking a second trip at this location!!

We had a wonderful stay over night as we was headed to Branson. We also got to meet and talk with Mr. Kenny he told us all about things to do near there and point us to places good to eat.

We planned this as a 4-day waterfall chasing adventure and Dennis and Naomi were incredibly helpful in accommodating our needs, providing us with a list of the 5 best waterfalls to see and providing us with several interactive maps that were developed by a notable "waterfall chaser". As our rental period approached, the weather forecast showed cold and rainy for our entire 4-day stay. We decided to follow through with the rental and Dennis provided additional tips on hiking in the rain. Then, I threw out my back the day before our trip was to start, but once again we decided to follow through. We arrived late at night but with Dennis' guidance were able to find Big Oak Cabin with no trouble at all. Dennis further assisted by providing a list of the 5 best short and easy waterfall trails. Dennis was extremely responsive to other requests for assistance. The vacation turned out to be one of the most memorable we've had. thank you Dennis and Naomi!!

The owner was very communicative and helpful. He was responsive to our questions about the area and gave us great advice. Our stay, which included two families (total of 10 individuals) stayed very comfortably in this space. We enjoyed being able to cook out and do a campfire/smores with the kids. Firewood was available with a fire pit, which was convenient. The kids loved playing games in the game room when they needed something to do. The porch had a picture perfect view of the mountains, and we loved being able to lounge, have coffee, and chat. Our trip to Falling Water Falls was a huge hit with everyone. We swam there most of the day and explored the area. Anyone traveling in this area should be aware of ticks and how to prepare/manage while exploring the area. Overall, we would love to return.

The farmhouse was just as described. Only 6 minutes from the Buffalo River so it was very handy for float trips. Our family enjoyed playing cornhole on the deck and looking for deer in the fields. My mother enjoyed bird watching on the deck in the mornings and evenings. The youngest enjoyed running in the yard. It was so peaceful that it was hard to believe it was so close to the highway. Also, the beds were so comfortable! Great memories were made here!

In a word. Peaceful . I was looking to get away from the chaos of the big city and found it. It’s as described and more. The cottage is beautifully put together. Well thought out to create a little nest in the big world of the Ozark’s. Thank you, Holly for sharing your beautiful mountain with us.

Very lovely place to stay for a weekend away. My husband is outdoorsy and loves to fish. He took full advantage of the creek to play catch & release. My two 6 year olds also loved to play indoors with all the games and books, almost as much as the loved playing outside! Almost anything you could need, they had. Lots of extra linens and toiletries, which is nice! Plenty of amenities also within a short distance. Would stay again!

We had an awesome stay! Our favorite aspect was the incredible view of the misty valley from the porch. Not a bad drive from some of the best sights in Arkansas.

The place is amazing is the host is super communicative! The hot tub and double fire pits are great! The bedding was so soft it felt hotel level. The kitchen had everything we needed to stay in and cook. There are other cabins around, but not too close so you feel safe. The outside lights on the deck are such a vibe and perfect for nights on the deck. My husband used the grill it worked great! I would recommend taking the shorter back road. One entrance is a lot smoother than the other, but that’s not the host’s fault (literally only complaint). Everything was super clean and no issues! If you stay and see a grey cat outside, please save him. We did not have space in the car and I still feel awful we couldn’t take him/her. We named him Oscar and hes easily lured with food. He shows up more in the afternoons and evenings.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning home that exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the sweeping views of the mountains—a breathtaking backdrop that made every morning feel like a scene from a movie. This place offered the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, and stunning natural beauty. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone.

My hubby and I stayed at Anita’s “Cedar Shadows” from June 6 - 9, 2025 to celebrate his birthday. We were so happy to find this beautiful and very private cabin nestled along the bank of Sweden Creek. It was exactly as pictured and Anita was a very welcoming host. She had a great snack basket, bottled water, and even a welcome Mike’s lemonade waiting for our arrival. Everything was so well maintained - inside and out! My favorite area was the HUGE wrap around porch. I would absolutely recommend a stay at this lovely cabin, and I’m hoping we can go back soon!

The pictures of this cabin do not do it justice. When you drive around the bend and see the view it’s breathtaking. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed! So many places do not have basics like seasonings, ziplocks etc. Betty had all this covered which made everything easier to plan for cooking. There were so many fireflies at night. I loved sitting on the porch and watching them. The bed was extremely comfortable! Betty was responsive quickly when we reached out. Everything about this stay was perfect. I give it 10/5 stars! We will be back for sure! There is also a lot of fun hiking around as well as some amazing food at the Ozark cafe!
