Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Connewarre

Absolutely cracking weekend in the airbnb. Everything was immaculately clean, as described & a beautiful home. Perfect house for 2 families, providing ample space & plenty of options even on a rainy weekend.

I booked the place for a holiday with my parents and kids. The place was so homely and kids friendly! There were many games and toys for the kids to play with. The kitchen had everything we needed. The ambiance was like a beautiful and welcoming family home that all of us very much enjoyed. Thank you Fran for the delightful stay!

Returning for our second visit to The Hut and thoroughly enjoyed as much as the first. We relaxed in front of the fire in the outdoor area and forgot about the outside world in the peaceful setting and watching the kangaroos hop by. The property is lovely to walk around with the dog and check out the new Little Springs area by the dam, perfect for a summer evening. Meredith is only a short drive away and can recommend the Rustic Ram for great meal. We were happy to see our host Geoff again who is warm and welcoming and so easy to communicate with. The Hut has everything you need for a peaceful weekend retreat. Highly recommended.

Loved our stay at Bec's! Perfect mix of country peace and coastal convenience - we had curious cows at the fence while being just minutes from Barwon Heads. The heated pool was a winner during the cool summer, and being able to bring our dog Oreo made it extra special. The golf club nearby does great food and drinks (fab happy hour on Fridays!). Spacious, clean, and genuinely relaxing - exactly what we were after!"​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Lucy’s place was absolutely perfect! The house was beautifully lit, spotless, and incredibly well-maintained — everything felt fresh, clean, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. It was also super dog-friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable for our 2 furry family members. The host was fantastic — warm, responsive, and made sure everything we needed was provided, with clear instructions for check-in, appliances, and amenities. Every little detail was thought of. The location is unbeatable — just a short walk to the beach, making it ideal for both relaxation and daily adventures. Hands down, this is one of the best Airbnb experiences I’ve ever had. I’d give it more than 5 stars if I could. Already looking forward to coming back!

Wonderful place to stay! Exactly as described and very clean. I stayed here through a recommendation and it definitely met the expectations. Very functional and cosy space to stay. Loved our stay! The apartment was very quiet and comfortable. Location superb with a wide choice of quality restaurants, parks and shopping and all walkable. We loved the Hotel Gitan a delicious spot for either lunch or dinner.

Fabulous place! We had an amazing time and it's probably the best-equipped Airbnb we've ever stayed at. The attention to detail is impressive, with everything thoughtfully provided, from the cozy bedding to the well-stocked kitchen. The host truly goes above and beyond to make guests feel at home. We had a lovely stay. Will be certain to return. The Elwood neighbourhood is our favourite in Melbourne. It is heavily treed, peaceful and walking distance to the beach, St Kilda Botanical Gardens as well as the shops in Elwood Village.

We had a great time at the Portarlington National Celtic festival over the June long weekend. To top this off our very comfortable accommodation was a highlight. The Hosts have put so much effort to make their place a home away from home and it shows with every thoughtful detail . Certainly would recommend to anyone wanting to stay and also explore the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula. Hopefully we can return for another luxury escape !! Rgds Margaret & Bob

Catherine was very helpful and easy to communicate with throughout the booking, check in and check out process. The place was amazing and in such a great location in St Kilda. The added touch of putting the fire on for us on arrival, on a cold evening, was very thoughtful. We had a great time in St Kilda and Melbourne, using Catherine's place as a hub made it all the more special. I cannot forget to mention the great recommendations for cafes, bars and restaurants locally that are now on our 'must go back to' list.

We loved our 3 night stay at this beautiful, cosy, warm loft-style apartment in vibrant Armadale. Close to fantastic cafes, restaurants and shopping. Our host also generously provided some yummy food items too. One standout feature was the log fire. We would definitely return to this lovely property.

A hidden gem just outside Lorne where the only drama is deciding whether to have your wine in the hot tub or by the fire. Spoiler: we did both. Peaceful, cozy, and the perfect spot to live your best relaxed life.

Biarritz is a beautiful, stylish villa in a peaceful garden setting and Sylvie is an excellent host, always so friendly, responsive and helpful. We were three generations staying for eleven nights after Xmas and the five bedrooms, spacious, bright, open plan living, kitchen, dining areas suited us perfectly. The new spa and sauna were a well used added bonus. Sylvie has ensured every room is so well equipped, with all we needed plus many extras and thoughtful touches that we have not seen in other houses, and all is of a high quality.
