Family-friendly holiday rentals in Coorong District Council

Lovely character cottage set in beautiful grounds. Our dog was settled here. Heather meeting us and showing us around on arrival, plus the provisions left, were nice touches. It was good to be able to walk our dog (on the lead) in the gardens. Enjoyed being close to the town centre and historic High Street. Graham’s local knowledge was very useful.

Lovely place to stay, close to the town centre and everything else with the lake over road. The fresh bread when we arrived was a huge hit with everyone and the boys loved making fresh bread everyday. I think a bread maker is on the wish list now!

We had a fabulous week at Sarah’s house. With a group of 6 adults and 4 children under 5, we found the space and area perfect for everyone. The children especially loved the downstairs games! We will definitely be back.

Great accommodation in a beautiful historic town, town walkable. Excellent location for visiting hahndorf, mount barker, langhorne creek, goolwa and more. Host provided generous breakfast provisions for our stay.

Thank you Denise - just what the doctor ordered was a quiet and restful stay by the lake. A quick weekend away with a walk around the town and restful evenings. And a stocked fridge on arrival for two breakfasts. Perfect.

Our stay at "Lalapanzi" was great. Thankyou. The house was spotless, and you thoughtful touches made us feel right at home and had a comfortable stay. Gary & Jenny were very accommodating and provided great local knowledge. It's a pity Pier 28 has closed. Winston & Chester loved taking walks around the township, meeting some of the local dogs & exploring the enclosed backyard, pity it was raining steadily during our stay but we definitely need it. Highly recommended, Great stay had by all.

Spacious and renovated historic cottage with plenty character. Coffee shop (Henry & Rose) across the road, IGA groceries around corner, pub only 3min walk and (Don Mosley) playground next block.

We loved our stay at Noonameena. Our dogs had plenty of room to explore the yard, with a Community Garden a short walk away. Across the road were superb views of the Coorong birdlife, with flights passing by and single birds paddling in the shallows. Many small birds frequented the garden too. The house was spacious, clean and well appointed.

Spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Everything you would need is there. Stunning location, very peaceful but not too far from “civilisation “ if you needed it. The Talem Bend River Retreat was an absolutely beautiful house. Being right on the water was fantastic and it made for such a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Rachel had great communication, we had one maintenance issue whilst there, but Rachel was lovely and got it sorted very quickly. Overall it was the perfect river stay, in a perfect location.

Loved our stay - perfect location with all the amenities we needed. The breakfast supply’s left for us was a lovely surprise as was the Port for after dinner. Heather was defiantly a Super Host. Would stay again.

We had a lovely stay at Wren Cottage. Mik is a very helpful and friendly host and the cabin was perfect and had everything we could possibly need! We hope to visit again.
