A gorgeous location so close to the lake - perfect for our weekend away.

Rachael's home was the perfect space for our large annual getaway with friends. Lots of space for young kids to run freely, both inside and outside, and jam packed with everything you could possibly need for a large group stay. Was impressed by how well stocked the kitchen was - we never ran out of cutlery, crockery, and having a dishwasher was a gamechanger. 3 full bathrooms was also great for our numbers. Only things that I would consider to be an enhancement for the property is if there would have been an outdoor heater in the patio - in the cold of winter, it was really icy so having that would have made it a lot more comfortable. Also, the trampoline had seen better days. The zip was broken, so with young kids, it was a little bit of a hazard and meant an adult had to be standing at the entry every time a child was using it. Rachael was an accommodating host, super responsive and helpful with any queries we had. We look forward to returning in warmer months in the future!

Group of us from NZ had the BEST time in Yarrawonga for a friends wedding and Kens place just made our trip extra special! Loved everything about the house, it was perfect!! One from the group even wrote a poem because we had so much fun: Six of us rocked up, bags in the car, To a Yarrawonga palace that raised the bar. Big rooms for the crew, the pool was ace, We claimed it as ours—our holiday base. The air con? A legend, cool as a breeze, A life-saver when you’re melting to cheese. But then, on the deck, a scream and a shake— “What the hell is that?!” Oh… it’s a fake snake. Rubber or not, it caused a stir, (We might have dropped a few snacks in the blur). But laughs were plenty, the vibe was strong, We’ll miss this place, but we won’t be gone long!

It was our second time staying at Woodbine Waters. We absolutely love this house, the waterfront, jetty and pool are always big ticks for our long summer holiday weekend as a family. Enough room for my parents, my 3 sisters and their husbands, myself and partner. Karen, Kath and Trudie from waterfront Holiday houses are wonderful hosts, easy to contact and super helpful. We will be back!

Leanne is a great host, very helpful. House was perfectly positioned and extremely clean. Highly recommend & would be happy to stay there again.

Dan and Felicity’s place is the perfect place to stay in autumn, winter and spring. The full length double glazed north face windows means the house is warm at the end of the day and then there is the gorgeous warmth from the fire box. The view of the mountains, lamas and autumnal colours on the trees immediately in front were gorgeous from the living area and main bedroom. Loved the tips on bikeriding paths in the area. We cooked up a lovely meal on our second night and was lovely to share the space with our friends.

We loved the authenticity and ambience of the cottage and the peaceful surrounds. For those who live a nice open wood fire this is a perfect spot. All close to beautiful sites, especially Yackandandah and Beechworth.

We had an amazing stay at Jac's place! The house was just right for us, with amenities that exceeded our expectations. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the home felt warm and spotless. We truly appreciated the thoughtful details, such as the travel cot and high chair set up for us, along with the abundance of toys and books for the kids. The delicious treats left for us were a delightful highlight! Everything we needed (and more) was available, making our trip so cozy and effortless. We’ll definitely be booking again for our next visit to Wangaratta!

Awesome wee cottage, loved our stay there. Comfortable and quiet

Absolutely beautiful and spacious home. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. It was nice to sit outdoors and view the resident kangaroos in the serene backyard. The kids were happy to spot them. We only stayed for two days but really enjoyed the place.

Kathy’s place was better than expected. We totally enjoyed our stay. We had to leave early which was disappointing because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Thank you Kathy

Jane was a great host. The check in and out process was very easy and everything well communicated. Perfect walking distance into town and a great layout for a intergenerational family catchup. Very well appointed house, everything was new and clean. So many fantastic wineries in the area, we love the Victoria Hotel, food and atmosphere in the restaurant was sensational! Thanks Jane.

Wonderful house and amenities, so neat and tidy. This is our 2nd stay and is our return for future work/visits in Wangaratta. Very quiet location (a court) and great being K9 friendly with big back yard and front area and wonderful creek/reserve walk at front door. Great restaurants and cafes are within 10-15-minute walking distance.

Beautiful and serene. We were 2 couples looking for a weekend getaway and Sam’s place was perfect. The location made it easily accessible to the King Valley wine region and Bright. We loved the top notch kitchen appliances and complimentary prosecco’s. Came back feeling well rested.

A very nice place that was clean and well appointed. The outdoor fire and couch area is fantastic but for the price would have been nice if there was a bag of firewood ($20 at servo) and we couldn’t find fire utensils. Also missing ice trays. Would definitely stay there again.

The cottage was the best Air BnB we’ve stayed in anywhere in the world. Beautifully furnished and kitted out, very spacious and generously provisioned by a wonderful host. If we could give a rating higher than 5 stars we would have. Exceptional value for money, close to Beechworth, a short walk to the wonderful rail trail, and in a lovely peaceful location. Even in the cold winter weather we were very cosy and comfortable for our weekend stay. We really appreciated the 11am checkout time too. We’ll be highly recommending to friends and family - we were reluctant to leave.

We stayed with family and kids over Easter and it was such a treat! The home was even better than expected. It was so well equipped, spotlessly clean and the backyard was amazing with an outlook to the bush and creek. We absolutely loved our time together- thanks Hayley!

We loved staying at the Hart cottage. The renovations done to make it the way it looks like now are wonderful. We enjoyed looking at the pictures displayed on the TV screen of the progress of the renovations. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed the firepit. We missed seeing the cows though. There were no cows around us. The property itself was so clean and beautifully decorated. We arrived at a cold night and it was so delightful to come into a garage that has sensors which lit the way for us as well as the outside lights of the cottage. And coming in, it was lovely to see that the heater was on and lights were on for us. Thank u . Will definitely come back
