Ricky went above and beyond to ensure our stay was satisfactory. Very communicative, proactive and gave lots of recommendations for places to eat nearby! The apartment was clean, the bed was very comfortable and while it’s small, don’t fret! It had everything we possibly needed during our stay! Wonderful place, great location and phenomenal host! The place is excellent, everything according to the ad, comfortable furniture, very good spaces, super clean, access without problems, the garage for a small car is great, the patio that surrounds the studio - apartment is great for the pet since it is pet-friendly. The location is not the most central but it is not far from the areas you want to visit. For me it was not a problem since it was not only that which I required, so for me it was excellent since it covered everything I was looking for, utensils to be able to cook and eat, everything very good. The only detail is the shower that does not have much water pressure but it is not an inconvenience. I would definitely book again if I return to visit Bacalar

Beautiful place located a little far from the main shopping area. Definitely need transportation. Great ac and hot water. Right in front of beach and the Hula bar. Everything was kept very clean and staff was helpful with reserving a golf cart for the days we stayed

We had such a lovely stay and absolutely adored Charleen! She was so sweet and welcoming—we had some really great conversations with her that made the experience even more special. The place was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re so grateful for the warm hospitality and would love to come back again. Highly recommend!

We cannot say enough about Margo's place. The pictures do not do it justice; the casita is beautiful, clean and well equipped. The kitchen is small but has everything that you need and then some. We enjoyed the veranda for eating, reading and watching birds and the pool is great to float or swim laps if you choose. Sunset from the pier is amazing! We had a great sunset every night. Swimming in the ocean is best from the end of the pier, the bottom is soft near shore and the water was very comfortable. It was our first time to Sarteneja and we will definitely come back again, it is a sleepy little fishing village with friendly locals. If you are looking for a place to relax that is unspoiled by tourism this is it. The only thing we would change is that we would have stayed longer! Margo is an incredible host, we felt right at home. One piece of advice--follow Margo's directions even if it seems that you are going out of your way and Google maps tells you to take a different route.

Ana Laura and her family always Friendly and attentive, with recommendations to get to know the many beauties of the area. For me, a delightful place, the Rancho Escondido spa is a gift from God, the Sujey-ha beach club is also beautiful, Xul-ha is Wonderful, we did not have a vehicle, which you can do, I recommend it for mobility, although it should be clarified that Ana provided us with the contact of Don Tony and took us where we asked, so it was wonderful! Don't hesitate to visit this place!

There's hot water! Wonderful vibe, very hippie artsy earthy garden and areas to sit outside. Wonderful to be able to refill water bottles to conserve. Hosts were so gracious.

second time I stay at this place and I will continue to recommend it. My mom happy that all the kitchen equipment was practically new (even though I don't cook anything), or I don't doubt that we were lucky enough that they had just renovated.. They have bikes and Kayak

Jonathon’s place was exactly as pictured and described. We were steps from the pools, hit tub, and bar. Some days we didn’t even leave. We transited everywhere via a rented golf cart. A pickup dock for excursions is also close by. Do yourself a favor and book now! It was a great experience.

The google maps pindrop is inaccurate. Look for the house with 551 outside the door, a couple of houses down from Los Aluxes. When giving directions to taxi, say Los Aluxes for them to know where to take you.
