5 Stars – A Tuscan Dream Come True! Our stay at Francesco’s private resort-style retreat in the hills of Tuscany was absolutely magical. The location is stunning—peaceful, picturesque, and the perfect escape into the beauty of the Italian countryside. The rustic room had so much charm and comfort, and the property itself was amazing, with not one but two beautiful pools to relax by. One of the highlights was the on-site restaurant. The free breakfast was far beyond the typical offering—not just muffins, but a full, authentic Italian breakfast that we looked forward to each morning. Dinner was just as impressive, showcasing delicious local flavors and warm hospitality. It was also a great jumping-off point for exploring the region—we took a lovely day trip to Siena with ease. This place is a hidden gem, and we’d return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience the best of Tuscany!

La maison de Marco est tout simplement splendide! C est une ancienne demeure mais il y avait tout le necessaire, la salle de bain est neuve,le salon gigantesque parfait pour une soirée entre amis, 3 grandes chambres...le jardin est privé dans un lieu historique devant le château de Poppi ! je recommande chaudement et je reviendrai certainement profiter des forêts alentours.

Such a beautiful, peaceful place to spend a few days! It was central to many tours and activities, great for exploring! Luca was a wonderful host and ensured we were happy and had everything we needed. The restaurant was great! I can’t think of anything that would have made our stay better! Completely exceeded our expectations!

We spent a few days ( 2-8.06.2025) at Podere Bocci with our family, and it was an absolutely exceptional time. The villa is even more beautiful than in the photos – very clean, spacious, and with a wonderful view of the Tuscan hills. The pool was perfect, discreetly cleaned every morning by the owner – everything was cared for down to the smallest detail. What impressed us the most, however, was the hospitality of the hosts – incredibly kind, helpful, and warm. They answered every question, brought us cake and prosecco for Grzesiek’s birthday, and surprised us with a delicious aperitivo at the end of our stay. We had never experienced such a warm welcome before – we truly felt exceptionally well taken care of. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for peace, the charm of Tuscany, and genuine kindness. We will definitely be back! Abbiamo appena trascorso un piacevole soggiorno in Casentino e l'appartamento di Ilaria ha contribuito molto a questo giudizio positivo. La casa e' abbastanza grande e puo' ospitare fino a 6 persone, con 2 bagni (uno con doccia, l'altro con vasca) e un divano letto molto comodo; Il letto principale e' invece un po' troppo morbido per i miei gusti. In cucina non manca nulla e i vari elettrodomestici funzionano bene, la dotazione e' completa. Con una temperatura esterna intorno a zero gradi, ero un po' preoccupato di soffrire il freddo invernale di questo periodo; l'appartamento e' invece perfettamente isolato termicamente, e termosifoni e acqua calda funzionano alla grande. La zona e' estremamente tranquilla e il parcheggio 'scale mobili' aggiunge pregio al soggiorno, per vicinanza e praticità di utilizzo. Ilaria e' una padrona di casa molto cordiale e attenta, sempre pronta a rispondere a qualsiasi richiesta di assistenza, senza risultare invadente.

Die Villa ist über eine wunderschöne Privatstrasse auch ohne 4×4 oder einen SUV problemlos zu erreichen . Sie ist sehr schön mitten in der Natur belegen, störende Nachbarn sind Fehlanzeige ! Das Haus selbst ist eine alte Villa,der Vater von Paolo dürfte sie selbst entworfen haben ! Das Grundstück selbst ist sehr gepflegt,beim Haus ist aber einiges in die Jahre gekommen ! Was aber nicht stört ,sondern ihm einen besonderen Charme verleiht ! Im Haus ist alles vorhanden,was man braucht ! Paolo habe ich während meines Aufenthaltes leider nicht kennengelernt,er war aber jederzeit erreichbar ! Als Entschädigung gab es jedoch Wein, Bier und Süssigkeiten ! Ich kann die Villa Bruna bedenkenlos empfehlen und mir auch einen neuerlichen Aufenthalt vorstellen !

We had a wonderful week-long visit. I wish we had stayed longer. The villa is beautiful. It is spacious, clean, with modern amenities and appliances but also has some very nice antique furniture and decor. The outdoor patio is really amazing, with views of distant Tuscan hills and farms, olive and cypress trees - a great place to eat and relax outdoors. Nearby Arezzo is a great place to visit. There are many interested museums, churches and places to visit in the older section of the town (including the Basilica di San Francesco with frescoes by Piero della Francesca), but there are also more modern parts of town with shops and restaurants, and ample parking. The villa is also within easy driving distance of many other surrounding towns (such as Cortona) and places to visit. Our hosts were super helpful and friendly, and we especially enjoyed the olive oil that is provided and made from the trees growing on the property. We would definitely stay here again.
