The living space on the first floor makes the most of this view, facing East for perfect sunrises. Ballyhalbert is a small village on the Ards peninsula, the most Easterly point on the island of Ireland.

Croob View Black Hut

Enjoy the setting of this romantic spot on a working sheep and cattle farm in the Dromara Hills, nestled in nature. Between Castlewellan and Dromara, 15min drive to Newcastle, 25min from Belfast. A couples retreat with a new electric hot tub in the middle of a mountain, sheep as the only possible disturbance. Guests are welcome to meet and greet our animals at the gate up to the hut. Honey the Falabella horse, 5 pygmy goat and our Free range hens, who give our guests eggs in our welcome pack.

Stone Wall Cottage

200 year old cottage nestled in a white-washed courtyard, lovingly restored and brought to life. All the modern comforts integrated between stone walls and rustic beams in a beautiful rural setting. Located half a mile from Tollymore Forest and by car we are 5 mins from Mourne Mountains, 5 mins from Newcastle and 5 mins from Castlewellan. The cottage is in the midst of our working horse farm, horses, chickens, dogs and donkeys are all part of the family. Dogs and horses are welcome guests.

Horseshoe Cottage is as "cute as a button". This 18th century, 2 story, stone barn was originally a stable with cobbled floor & 3 horse stalls. Now it exudes character, warmth & rural charm with it's thick walls, cottage windows & wood burning stove. Situated in a quiet corner of a working farm yard, the accommodation boasts a Super King bed, luxurious shower room & Wifi, among vintage furnishings. Nestled among the drumlins of Strangford Lough, 1 mile from the charming village of Greyabbey.

A home away from home, in the grounds of our family holiday home, the house is just 300m away from the entrance of Tollymore Forest Park. Unwind in the hot tub soaking in the dramatic view of the Mourne Mountains. Inside, relax in front of a cosy wood burning stove. Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.

Hollymount Cottage

Hollymount self catering Cottage with its traditional stone faced exterior and beautiful surroundings, is the ideal getaway location. This newly refurbished, well equipped cottage provides the perfect accommodation for six people- 2 double and 2 single beds including all of your home comforts. This well appointed ground floor apartment is perfectly set up for families and commands some of the finest vistas in Ireland , overlooking Dundrum bay and the majestic Mournes. The apartment stands on the quayside just a few metres from the waters edge and has its own entrance, private garden and patio. The village of Dundrum is a moments walk away and has two excellent restaurants. The bay is a haven for wildlife, especially birds, and Murlough nature reserve is a short walk away.

Bird Island Bothy

Wake with the rising sun, shrill calls of the wading birds, and waves breaking on the shore only meters away. The wild shore and vegetation provide a great habitat for birds, mammals, insects and spiders typical of the Irish coast. Wading birds can be seen feeding along the undisturbed shore. Bird Island Bothy has the feel of a sailing ship's cabin with chunky wooden beams, mock four-poster bed and plush velvet curtains. A great base from which to explore the Ards Peninsula.
