The accommodation is located in a village on the banks of the Noxe and in the middle of the champagne vineyards, 20 km from the medieval city of Provins, 15 km from Nogent sur Seine and its Camille Claudel museum, 60 km from Troyes (city center with half-timbered houses and factory shops), 70 km from the lakes of the Orient Forest, and 60 km from Epernay with its Champagne cellars and 1 hour from Disneyland Paris. Nestled by the river Seine, in an artist village in the region of Champagne, this former priory is located only 100km from Paris (55mn direct train between the neighboring Nogent s/Sein and Gare de l'Est). This is an authentic and ressourcing place, newly renovated, loaded with 400 years of history. We have decorated the house with love and care, the equipment is very generous. Bikes of diverse sizes (for adults and children), kayaks, SUPs and other inside and outside equipments are available.

It is not known which year the house was built but its antique oak beams throughout the building date from at least early 1600's. Tall ceilings offer a spacious and airy yet very cosy space across three floors. The courtyard has a lunch/dining area as well as a lounge area under roof by the open fire place - you have private access to this tranquil and magical space. Maison Marcks is a comfortable and exclusive home to stay in while exploring Champagne and its many legendary vineyards.

The cottage, located 35 minutes from Disney by car, is reminiscent of the world of a famous young wizard and that of a medieval castle.
