A truly memorable stay. The landscape was breathtaking — wildflowers, birdsong, horses, and morning mist over the valley created a dreamlike atmosphere. The spa facilities and infinity pool, set against stunning views, were especially restorative. The cabin is compact but surrounded by natural beauty. We loved waking to the sounds of birds and nearby waterfall — simply idyllic. There was occasional noise from grounds maintenance, but it didn’t detract too much from the overall impression. The host was communicative and flexible with our arrival time. Thoughtful touches like the welcome wine and chocolate cake made us feel right at home. Everything was smooth and easy, and we found some fantastic local restaurants. The surrounding area is full of charm, with quiet walks, friendly people, and views we’ll never forget. We spent our days exploring and simply soaking it all in. This place made us fall in love with Portugal — we’re already looking forward to returning. Thank you!

This is a stunning place secluded away from anything nearby. Great for a retreat to be restful, listen to nature and admire the beautiful horses. Cheila was an incredible host, super responsive to any questions or comments and gave us some beautiful lemons from her tree. The house is really well throughout and all amenities are included. We had a great extended stay at Joaquim's aparment. It is well-furnished and comfortable, and in a great location. There is a quiet green space, well-kept, across the street, leading to a major mall and soccer stadium. Worked well for us! Thanks Joaquim!

Thank you for this stay was lovely, we drove our car to the property accompanied by Rui and Isabella, only because our car is 4WD, the house is just beautiful, there is no one nearby and very quiet. There are also two bathtubs that need to be heated and enjoyed, it's very cool and relaxing! The house in person is much more cozy and beautiful than in the photos, it is a delight. It was especially nice that when I received a burn through my own fault in the bathroom in the closet there was a burn remedy, this is a very safe and cozy house.

We can’t say enough about how magical our stay was. The unit is adorable and so unique. We loved the setting- the vineyards, the birds. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The sunset was glorious. The pool was a welcome respite from the heat. There is only one air conditioner in one bedroom, which in conjunction with a fan did a reasonable job of keeping the house cool on a very hot day. The kitchen is fine for light cooking.

Relatively easy access (mountain roads), located in a small village 5 minutes' drive from a supermarket and cafes/pizzeria, stone house completely remodeled inside, equipped kitchen, well-decorated living room, a large balcony with a spectacular view and a very cool pool with cold water.

Beautifully furnished, clean house equipped with everything you need. The location is extremely quiet, so you have the feeling of being the only house in the area. The complex is very well maintained and the pool is large enough for swimming. Communication with Carla is uncomplicated and friendly, we always had the feeling that we could turn to her in case of problems. We enjoyed every second and there is nothing to complain about. If we choose Portugal again, the accommodation and Carla will be our first choice.

A Hidden Gem in Nature! We had an unforgettable stay at this stunning farmhouse! The setting is absolutely serene—surrounded by lush greenery and fresh air. The highlight for us was definitely the natural water tank. It felt like our own private spring-fed pool—so refreshing and peaceful, especially in the mornings. The farmhouse itself is beautifully maintained, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The interiors were cozy and spotless, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals. Waking up to the sound of birds and sipping coffee on the porch while looking out over the landscape was pure magic. Our host was warm, welcoming, and very responsive, offering great local tips and ensuring we had everything we needed. If you’re looking to disconnect from the hustle and reconnect with nature, this place is a dream. We can’t wait to return!

The home is a great base to explore Geres from and is in a quiet and beautiful area with great views. Spacious and comfortable!

Quinta Do Rapozinho is a beautiful place located in a former traditional northern farm. We had a bit of a struggle to find the place, arriving late at night didn’t help 😞. My advice is to write the name of the place on your satnav ( even if you are using your mobile like I did). The place itself is amazing, peaceful and all the staff is very friendly and helpful. Amazing location with stunning views and cows on the field some days. They work really hard to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is varied and very tasty with plenty of home made butter, yoghurt and cake.Cheese, ham,granola, etc. We tried both,in the breakfast room and delivered to the room and they are equally delicious. We stayed in the Casa do Palheiro it’s cosy, warm and rustic in a good way. Our son and girlfriend joined us over the weekend and the space was plenty big for four adults,if you are looking for a taste of local history this is the place.

Very nice and cozy space. A perfect place for those looking to rest from the daily grind. The Serra da Cabreira as a backdrop and the sound of nature add the touch for perfect relaxation. We loved the pool, and despite the rain forecast, we were lucky to always have good weather. Raquel and Miguel were great hosts, who made us feel comfortable for any questions and we also thank you for the tips that were given.

Very good space, Mrs. Teresa very helpful and friendly, 5 stars . Beautiful space and landscape, impeccable swimming pool. We'll be back for sure.

Great house for a few quiet days with a group of friends!

The house with garden, chickens, cats and turkeys seemed like a little paradise to us. We enjoyed the pool incredibly charmingly and were able to cook deliciously with the equipment. It is incredibly green in the area and a swim in the river (Lima) was a wonderful experience. A good starting point to go to the mountains or to the coast, as well as sweet towns around and also not far from Porto. We can absolutely recommend the accommodation and were all totally satisfied. Enjoy the place and the time there, it's not difficult at all.

Had a perfect time. Margarida and her husband are very lovely and helpful. We enjoyed 5 days in their house. The accommodation was well equipped and groomed. We could play football, listen to music late in the night and play table games in the house til the Morning. They never felt disturbed or said we are too loud. I can totally recommend this, either for a Family Trip or a group of friends.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Miguel’s place. The property is even more beautiful than the photos. We stayed with our three kids (aged 4,7 & 10) and they loved the place. The pool was large and with stunning views of the river. There is so many areas to explore, like the well positioned hammocks to relax in, which my two older kids happily sat in reading together. There is an open area with a football goal which my kids loved. You then follow a path further down and you can find the SUPs and kayak, then the entry to the river, which we all made use of everyday. The kids also enjoyed going fishing with daddy in the evenings and we defiantly made use of the BBQ and outdoor dinning for all our meals as well. We couldn’t hear a sound was so peaceful. Miguel provided a list of tips and places to eat before we arrived, and also left some treats for the kids and us. He was very responsive when I had questions too. Voted by kids the best holiday this so far! Can’t wait to return.

Sandra and Bia welcomed us into their lovely home, filled with antique furniture and beautifully embroiderered/ crocheted decor. We enjoyed a spectacular view of Lindoso castle, mountains and valleys, swifts, finches and the odd golden eagle circling above. At night we saw starry starry skies. If you like to cook there is everything you need in the indoor and outdoor BBQ area. We liked the pool and the outside dining area being close together meaning the family could share the space together. This does not mean the outdoor space is small, just well thought out. The house is cool, particularly the downstairs bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. Bread is delivered daily, bread eggs, homemade jam, cheese and a bottle of Vinho Verde await you on arrival. More eggs and jam will be provided - you just have to ask. Sandra and Bia kindly laundered our clothes (same day service). This is our favourite AirBnB for cleanliness, attention to detail and setting.

This was an amazing stay! The Chalet is beautiful and offers tranquility as it is nestled in the mountains and has serene views. Despite being hard to find, it was worth every penny. We would definitely stay there again! Bonus, Carla was an amazing host! She was so helpful in finding the chalet as we got lost twice. Carla and her husband even drove to find us and led us to the Chalet. If we needed anything she seemed to always respond rather quickly. Overall, it was a great stay!
