House holiday rentals in Covas

We really enjoyed our stay at Tue’s house. It is a great size with good bedrooms and plenty of living space. Ideal for our family of 7. The house is well equipped with plenty to do - swimming pool, bikes, pool table, large garden etc. The local area is very quiet with a good beach and some nice local walks. The weather wasn’t great while we were there, which was unfortunate and meant we couldn’t make full use of the pool etc. but it was great on the sunny days. It could perhaps be improved with some soft covers for the sun beds and maybe another sun umbrella. All in all though we had a great stay.

We had a great time in Afife and enjoyed our stay at Joaos place. The location was very quiet (except the Honda shop across the street in the daytime) and Afife has not much to offer, which was okay for us but should be known in advance if you plan on eating outside. Porto is great to be reached by train and the beach is very close. With 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms there’s enough space for a big group and everything was very comfortable. The pool was open already and was cleaned during our stay. The only thing which I would point out on the negative side is that when we arrived it smelled a bit mouldy, probably due to the rainy weather and the fact that 3 of the bathrooms don’t have windows. The staircase to the lower part of the house is very steep. That’s a fact you should know when travelling with small kids. Joao was perfect to contact and always responded quickly whenever there were any questions. Thanks for having us. We would totally recommend to stay at his place.

Really beautiful home with stunning views, absolutely loved our stay here thanks for having us. Fully equipped kitchen and the space is absolutely gorgeous throughout. Brilliant outdoor area for dining and sunbathing. Garden and pool in full sunshine whenever you want to use them but a nice shaded area for dining. Only slight disappointment was the home did not have air con as advertised (it was underfloor heating) so we were quite hot at night and struggled to sleep. The heating system was adjusted and our host provided fans for each bedroom to try and help cool the house. Overall fantastic property.

Vielen lieben Dank, Rita & João! Rechtzeitig zur Ankunft in Porto erhielten wir eine detaillierte Wegbeschreibung zu den Gegebenheiten vor Ort. Wir wurden äußerst freundlich im Anwesen empfangen und erhielten die Schlüssel. Das Anwesen entspricht exakt den Bildern und es mangelte uns, während des Aufenthalts in Ventosa, an nichts. Wir haben die freie Zeit sehr genossen!

Espaço impecável e agradável para passar uns bons momentos em família ou com amigos. O André foi muito prestável em tudo o que podia e rapidamente respondia a qualquer questão, estando sempre disponível. A zona também é bonita com vista para as montanhas, calma, e amigável.

Merci pour le superbe séjour, la maison et l’extérieur sont superbes. Environnement très paisible, belle piscine et parfaitement placé. Nous avons bien profité du barbecue et des équipements du logement. Conforme à la description. Les hôtes sont très accueillants et gentils. Super !

After spending the last four weeks here I am so sad to be leaving Portugal. The house and the area are just beautiful, and I could not recommend this place enough. A car is a must, but it’s a very pleasant and straightforward drive from Porto airport. The village has a river beach, but if you prefer the sea, Caminha is a 50 minute drive and it’s definitely worth the visit - the beaches are beautiful. Forte da Ínsua restaurant is a must! I would also recommend a day trip to Tui, we took a boat ride and looked at the history and it was just wonderful. I’d also recommend the boardwalk hike along the river from Sistelo. The views are just incredible! The house is in a very rural area, so this place is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet retreat. A huge thank you to the hosts for being so helpful and accommodating!

Foi uma experiência incrível, melhor do que esperávamos! Procuramos um lugar tranquilo para um fim de semana e a Quinta das Tendas foi sem dúvida uma ótima opção, o silêncio da natureza é o que domina o espaço! As condições são impecáveis, estava tudo como descrito no anúncio. O senhor Luís é muito simpático e prestável. Uma experiência a repetir e para recomendar, sem dúvida ☺️🌿

O sr Fernando recebeu-nos muito bem, sempre disponível. A casa é melhor que a descrição 😁jardim muito bonito e espaço para estacionar na propriedade. Perto do centro, muita das vezes fomos a pé até ao centro de Ponte de Lima e usufruir de uma bela paisagem.

A casa é muito confortável, ambiente mto agradável e a limpeza impecável. O espaço exterior convida às refeições ao ar livre com umas vistas maravilhosas. Usufruindo de tranquilidade e sossego. A estadia foi muito agradável e a D Rosa foi muito simpática e prestável. Todos os dias tivemos surpresas e miminhos da D Rosa. As crianças adoraram visitar o pomar e ficaram encantados com tanta fruta. Divertiram se imenso na piscina. Recomendo! Experiência a repetir sem dúvida.

Adoramos a nossa estadia! A casa estava impecavelmente limpa e confortável para nos receber. A Cristina e o seu marido foram muito simpáticos e atenciosos! O espaço exterior é excelente para aproveitar momentos em família, assim como a vista da cozinha/sala, todos os dias jantamos com vista para o pôr do sol. A casa fica muito perto de supermercados, restaurantes e até da praia e dos passadiços. Gostamos muito!

Bij het boeken werden we al verliefd op deze fantastische plek en alle verwachtingen zijn waargemaakt. Wat een heerlijke plek om de regio te verkennen en tot rust te komen. Zowel het appartement zelfg als de locatie zijn prachtig. Alle details in het appartement kloppen; zeker ook met de historie die ons door Raquel en Miguel is verteld. We hadden ons geen betere start van onze vakantie in Portugal kunnen wensen. Dank Raquel en Miguel voor de gastvrijheid en een perfect verblijf!

A casa de Cristina fica localizada em Gondarém, uma localidade muito próxima de Vila Nova de Cerveira no extremo norte de Portugal. A casa tem uma excelente vista do rio Minho, muito bem equipada e mobilada. A casa também possui ótimos acessos, ficando bastante próxima da estação de comboios de Gondarem e com supermercados próximos. A Cristina foi uma excelente host, sempre responsiva e com forneceu-nos ajuda com tudo e também dicas do que fazer nas redondezas. Estamos bastante felizes e recomendamos bastante esta casa para quem quiser tirar alguns dias a descansar na natureza.

Très belle maison contemporaine avec de l’espace, très beau et vaste jardin pour profiter de l’extérieur. Parfait pour un grand groupe où chacun peut aussi s’isoler. Très bon accueil des propriétaires, réactifs et disponibles en cas de question. Je recommande !!

Beautiful modern Villa with all of the amenities we could have wanted. Great bedrooms and modern bathrooms, lovely 10m pool and stunning view. Marta was very helpful if we ever needed anything and had great recommendations.

Una maravilla de fin de semana con amigos. La familia que nos recibió fueron amables, nos explicaron todos los detalles necesarios y nos dejaron algunos detalles de bienvenida que nos encantó. La piscina limpísima es perfecta para jugar y refrescarse en días de calor. La mesa de pin pong y billar es un detalle que pocas casas tienen y que le disfrutamos muchísimo. La pista de fútbol y de tenis, las cocinas perfectas… inmejorable! Nos volveremos a ver

O espaço está muito bem recuperado, albergando famílias grandes com conforto e conseguindo-se ter privacidade em relação à rua. Foi agradável chegar ao local e ter a lareira acesa, pois tendo em conta a temperatura exterior, a casa estaria gelada se assim não fosse.

Tivemos uma estadia maravilhosa! A casa é ainda mais bonita do que nas fotos – um espaço acolhedor, bem cuidado e cheio de detalhes que fazem a diferença. Quando chegámos, fomos recebidos com um pão caseiro ainda quente, um gesto super atencioso e deu logo o tom para o resto da estadia.
