Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Craftsbury

We stayed for 3 months during the winter for Snowboarding season at Stowe and had an amazing time. The level of cozy is beyond words, especially while it snows. The barn has absolutely everything one needs + more. Don’t be fooled by the distance to Stowe and the ski resort! Yes, it’s not 10 mins, BUT it’s so worth it. The drive is amazing and we actually always looked forward to it and our stops at Stowe Bee and Woodland for pre and post-riding snacks. So yeah, it’s a good drive. The neighborhood is peaceful with 3 great breweries nearby, a Black Cap coffee shop location, amazing Pizza, and outstanding Thai food right down the street. 100% recommended!

Modern and rustic combined, beautiful sunny kitchen, easy access to kingdom trails. Beds were very comfortable.

Sara and her mom are very easy-going hosts. I traveled with a friend and two dogs, and we all felt very welcomed. There's a small fenced in area on the roadside of the house, and tons of open farmland in the back -- both were great for letting the dogs out. Sara's parents are very quiet neighbors, but it was also nice to know they were nearby if anything came up. A 26-mile rail trail starts out of Richford, which is a five minute drive from the house.

We had a lovely time at this quaint mountainous home. The neighbor nearby had some horses that grazed near the home every morning and the vistas in the distance were incredible to see. We would love to come back again next year, maybe during the more peak foliage season. Thank you all so much for your hospitality, especially for providing us an extra night!

Our stay at Kari’s place was wonderful! From her responsiveness and flexibility, to her stunning place we felt right at home and enjoyed every minute of it. Sitting in the hot tub at the end of the night with a sky full of stars was the cherry on top. We recommend to anyone that if you’re considering this place, book it before someone else does! We had a great stay at Baha Burke. The house was clean, modern, and fully stocked. There is secure bike storage onsite and a great outdoor shower (which we ended up using all week because of how peaceful it was). Kingdom Trails Moose Alley crosses the driveway and the house is just minutes from downtown and many of the Kingdom Trail sections. This house was what we hoped it would be and we really enjoyed our stay. I would stay at this house again and would recommend to others. The hosts were responsive and nice as well. Overall excellent experience!!

Nicholas’s place was great, about 15 minutes from Jay. The house was very clean and everything was well explained. We had a great time and would love to come back!

This is the second year in a row that our party stayed with Terri and Craig and it won't be the last. The size and location is perfect for us and we are already looking forward to going back. They are wonderful hosts with great communication, their place is clean and comfortable, and we couldn't be happier with our experience.

Great place. Host was very responsive and welcoming. Place was homey and very clean. Loved the location - quiet but right in town, local restaurants within walking distance. Lots of little extras that made it feel very comfortable and put a smile our faces. Thank you.

This was the nicest Airbnb of the 19 we have stayed in in the US, Canada, and Europe. It's comfortable, clean, and decorated very well with a nice theme. The neighborhood is very nice, and it's a 10-15 minute walk to downtown (and it's down....hill). The owners live in the main house (mansion?) in front. We had several casual chats outside with them. The Airbnb is behind, upstairs, in an extension. The small porch looks out over a garden, and houses in the distance. Parking is next to the (external) stairs. We would recommend this place to anyone.

My husband and I enjoyed a week at Camilla’s studio apartment while exploring Montpelier and the surrounding areas! Camilla is super friendly and provided us with clear and detailed instructions (which I really appreciate). The studio was just as described and very neat and clean. It’s in a great location as we walked most mornings to either get coffee or breakfast at the nearby downtown restaurants. We also made several simple and lighter meals in the studio kitchen, which helped save money as well as space in our stomachs. We loved our stay and highly recommend Camilla’s contemporary studio for anyone looking for a cozy place for two people in the Montpelier area!

the place was even nicer than expected. very spacious and clean. great little fenced in area for the dogs to run around. 15min drive to Jay, and less than 5 min from a good restaurant, gas, and a grocery store. really appreciated the kids toys for our little one too!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, even though it was short and sweet. The extras (snacks, breakfast items, etc.) were unexpected, but very special. The apartment was very clean and spacious, and we will definitely stay here again if we’re ever in the area.

Lovely Mad River Valley place to stay. Convenient to Waitsfield. Perfect spot for 2 people. The place is inside of an building that may have been a barn or large garage previously. When we first arrived we noticed a strong musty smell which improved as we were in and out over a few days. There were also some pests that we notified the hosts about who offered to reimburse us for purchase of raid or other pest control stuff. We didn't take them up on that offer, so the pests persisted and we just kept everything off the floor. Overall the place is well appointed and the grounds with blooming gardens are lovely.

Great place for a ski vacation. The unit was exceptionally clean and Beverly was extremely responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed in National at 1854 House and we loved it! It was exactly as described, and Sarah was a terrific host. Everything was very clean, she was quick to respond, left detailed instructions about all the unit had to offer, and even gave us some local recommendations. The bed was comfortable, the view was great, and the swing in the living room was a wonderful extra touch. The location was perfect for exploring all of northern Vermont. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. We would absolutely stay in National again. Definitely recommend!

Spacious and well supplied, comfortable bed and relaxing back porch. Host’s were very accommodating and responsive. Walkable to town or short drive to attractions. Others have noted hearing occupants in the upstairs condo this was not an issue for us, we slept soundly. Would stay again if in the area.

Great place to stay. Beautiful walking trails and very peaceful in the off season. Enjoyed the over the mountain ride into Stowe each morning.

We had a great stay at Carl’s townhouse. The place was exactly as described. The condo complex has access to the rec path and is a quick drive to tons of great restaurants, breweries and things to do. Thanks Carl!

Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home! The place is exactly as listed but even more stunning in person. We felt right at home! It is clear Josh has thought of everything. All of the little touches and amenities are well thought out. We easily fit our group of 9, with plenty of space for everyone to hang out and relax. Josh was a great host and very friendly and easy to communicate with. I would certainly rent this space again and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway to Stowe!

Philip was very informative and responsive when we needed. His information was clear and easy to follow. At the end of our stay, when we went to dispose of our trash, we saw a bear at the dumpster bins and he was completely understanding that we couldn’t dispose of it at that time. He had a great sense of humor and made the experience all around great!
