Family-friendly holiday rentals in Crantock

We really enjoyed staying here as a group of five adults and 1 toddler. Plenty of room for us all and having 2 bathrooms was really great. The cabin is comfy and cosy, with beautiful views of the Cornish countryside. We used the cabin as a base to explore Cornwall as it is located centrally within easy reach of many popular towns. We loved coming back to the cabin in the evening and using the hot tub and waking up to the very friendly alpacas! You do have to drive up a very narrow and steep lane to reach the cabin but we were lucky that the lane is very quiet and so we never met any oncoming traffic. We would absolutely recommend and would love to return one day.

A beautiful glamping experience that exceeded our expectations. We had our three small children with us that absolutely loved it! They loved seeing the chilckens and ducks on site. Buttercup accommodation had everything we needed and we will definitely recommend it to others.

A lovely house in a fantastic location. Peter and Scarlet were extremely easy to deal with and very responsive. The house was clean and tidy with good amenities - especially the hot tub and the pool table. Well worth checking out.

We had such a wonderful time at Mill Pool Lodge despite some grey and wet weather. The beds were comfortable, the house is simply furnished and had what we needed. Jenni had sweetly made a delicious home made cream tea for our arrival. The gardens are absolutely stunning, tones of space to explore, all with different characters, it was wonderful walking round and spending time outside there, the birdsong was incredible and the Merlin bird ID app identified a tone of species. We enjoyed the hot tub too, and had a very relaxing time. We used the place as a base to explore our favourite North Cornwall beaches and towns. They also kindly lent us body boards as we forgot to bring ours! Would absolutely come back, what an incredible and special place, thank you for sharing it with us!!

What a wonderful find. We met at Tygwella for a family holiday, some of us coming from Australia and some from Manchester. The house was ideal. It was spacious so we could occupy different “wings” with our own bathrooms and come together for meals, chat and play. The house was very generously supplied with basic provisions, kitchen and laundry equipment. We wanted for nothing. Having two ovens was great for cooking adult and children’s meals. The location was so peaceful with great views and easy access to the coast path and beach.

This has been our 4th Visit at Ali's huts. We love it here and can't recommend it enough. Ali is a great host who is always accommodating and helpful. the area is beautiful and tranquil. Totally relaxing getaway.

We had a wonderful stay in Porthtowan. The house was fully equipped for self catering, the beds were comfy and the garden was a good size with amazing views. It was a good base to travel around the area, would definitely recommend.

This was our second stay at Sharon's barn and we will definitely come back again. It's in a great location, has all the bits and pieces you need for a week's holiday and is incredibly comfortable. the bed is very comfy and we slept soundly, waking ready for a walk to the beach for a swim.

Exactly as described a perfect slice of reclusive heaven! Wish the weather was slightly better but hey that's the UK. Amazing, the small personal touches such as the scones were lovely! The dogs loved being in the garden next to the sea- I have never seen so many zoomies! The WiFi really is intermittent but why would you need it, when your view and surroundings are so wonderful!

I stayed with 2 friends for a function at porthtowan. Stunning view of the beach, cute and functional interior and a comfy bed. Mike was great at communication and even let us check in early as nobody was staying the day before which was super helpful, thanks. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

We had a brilliant couple of nights at the Apple Store, was even better than the photos! Big comfy bed, immaculately clean, great coffee machine and mini fridge. Hosts have thought of everything you need, great set up. Plenty of room for the dog bed, hooks to hang clothes up and lots of tips in the guest book. 10 minute walk to St Agnes for lots of independent cafes and bars, especially liked Bearded Brewery, the Taphouse and the Institute. Trevaunce Cove was lovely sandy beach, saw some huge spider crabs. Locals were lovely and chatty and all very dog friendly. We would happily recommend this accommodation as a fab base to explore St Agnes.

A beautiful spot which was so relaxing. The house was laid out well for 2 couples. We really enjoyed our stay. Disappointed though with the local pub. Wouldn't recommend eating there sadly.

Stayed for a month whilst working remotely and loved it! The apartment was clean and had everything I needed for my stay - clear communication and check in. The wifi was strong - enough to be able to take video calls which was great. Place was super spacious and clean. Location wise, it was perfect, 10 mins walk to Fistral and only a couple of mins to main high street. Parking spot was a great plus. Absolutely loved staying here and highly recommend!

We absolutely loved staying at this cottage! It’s beautifully decorated, full of character, and felt incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect—peaceful and relaxing, yet just a short stroll or drive to the village of St Agnes, which has pubs and bakery's. The cottage itself is very spacious, with lots of room to unwind. One of the highlights was how well-stocked the kitchen was—there were loads of utensils, cookware, and everything we needed to prepare meals, which made cooking at home really easy. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into this place. It’s the kind of stay that feels like a home away from home. We would absolutely love to come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy and peaceful getaway in a beautiful part of Cornwall!

The property matched the description provided, though the photographs give the impression of a larger space. Nevertheless, it perfectly met our requirements. Chris was exceptionally responsive to our inquiries, addressing various questions we had. The area was clean and filled with ample natural light. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding land for play, as well as the small game room stocked with toys, which was a welcome respite during a particularly rainy and windy day. The on-site washing machine was available for free use, and the washing line proved to be quite useful. Although the outdoor pool was not heated, it did not deter my children from taking a dip and having fun. I would certainly consider staying at this property again.

My family of four recently stayed at Pamela’s place in Portreath and we had a blissful week in paradise! Everything about the week was great - Pamela and her family are so lovely and friendly and it truly felt like a home away from home. I booked this place especially for the amenities of the pool and hot tub and my kids (11 and 8) loved it! It was so nice to have an uncrowded swimming pool to relax at! The apartment was clean and cozy and was a great base for our week of adventures. It was nice to be able to walk 5 minutes for a morning pastry and coffee from the local bakery. It is clear from its immaculate and beautiful nature that Bassett Acre is a source of pride for Pamela and her family and they were perhaps the most gracious and friendly hosts of any place my family has stayed. We are already planning another stay next summer!

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

Our stay with Stephen was great! Very clean and private space cabin. With a lovely outside area where we sat with some friends. Very quiet and peaceful. Stephen was great and really flexible RE: check-in timings and always had a very quick response to any queries I had before our stay. Would highly recommend.

Out of all of the places we have stayed, this was definitely the most well equipped. There was everything we needed. the facilities and grounds are fantastic. We have a child with autism and a profound learning disability and it was absolutely perfect for us. The outdoor space was great and the swimming facilities are excellent. It is fantastic value for money and great for groups or large family gatherings due to all of the available accommodation. We will definitely be back 😊.

Great apartment, very clean and spacious. Everything you need is there and it’s really close to the town centre and all of the beaches. This is the second time we have stayed and we will hopefully return in 2023.

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

We’re so glad we chose to stay at Halula Beach House for my hen do weekend, it was the perfect pad! Pool, hot tub, silent disco, huge table we could all sit round… and just a few minutes walk to the gorgeous beach. Would highly recommend it!
