My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Terry is an exceptional host, she went above and beyond to accommodate a special request and made sure we had everything we could possibly need and more for the perfect stay. The surroundings are beautiful and the cabin is so charming. We would absolutely book again and recommend anyone else to do so!

Wonderful location in Fairfield Harbour! Just 1 block to the neighborhood pool, where hosts Terri & David arranged free passes for us to swim. This home suited our needs perfectly while in town to attend a sailing regatta. We really enjoyed our stay so close to the marina, and look forward to returning for the next regatta!

This is a great place to stay and relax. Tim was very responsive and proactive. We were checking in the day after a bad snow storm and he contacted us right away to let us know how the roads were and what to expect. Since it was snowy and cold, we did not get to use the amenities. But the house is located right next to the kayak launch area and it was a very short drive to the pool/club house. We come to this area often and will definitely be staying here again!

What a hidden gem! We stay here with our children (8 and 5yo). The house was incredibly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Wonderful view from the deck. The property is beautiful. We fished off the dock for hours and had a blast swimming in the pool. We even saw a dolphin swim within 20 feet of the dock! Oriental is a cute town nearby - we had great carry out from The Silos and went to The Bean for ice cream. Piggly Wiggly grocery store had everything we needed. We loved our stay here and have already booked our next trip! Thanks for having us.

We had a wonderful stay! The property was peaceful and private with a beautiful view right next to the canal. My kids especially had a blast fishing off the dock — it quickly became their favorite part of the trip. The setting was perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. We would definitely love to come back!

This home was one of our best stays ever. The house was beautiful and very well appointed! I appreciated the labels on the kitchen cabinets as it made everything easy to find. And the labels on the light switches helped as well! We cooked in and found everything we needed in the kitchen plus we enjoyed being able to grill. And the snack basket was a nice touch! The house was immaculate and very well cared for. We enjoyed hangout there when we weren’t out exploring. It was an easy drive to downtown New Bern. And the property and neighborhood were great for our dog. Jacqueline was friendly and proactive and we could not have asked for a better host. We would highly recommend this home and would definitely return. All around great stay!

Our Children are sailors and this place was a perfect fit that was better than described. The personal touches and amenities for our family will have us back on the next trip. We have a child at Camp Seagull and this made our drop off seamless while being able to check out the local community within close walking distance. Community was super friendly and Lisa was an amazing host! We’ll be back!

This is a great home, great resort neighborhood, great hosts, close to restaurants and water activities!!! My team had a great time, the back enclosed deck is amazing!! We love New Bern and Fairfield Harbor!!!!!

Fantastic place, really feels like a home and not a generic rental place. The kitchen is stocked with every appliance you could ever think of. The train running out front is great for kids (runs daytime on weekdays only). Beds are massive and comfortable, the house is well insulated and fairly soundproofed, and the side porch is great for coffee and people watching. Location is great, right on the edge of all the restaurants and bars with an open grassy area on one side and quiet neighbor on the other. Highly recommend!

Our stay was so wonderful I need more stars. In town for my father’s memorial service, Megan’s home was the perfect blend of cozy warmth and spaciousness for our immediate family of five adults, and became the hub of extended family meals. For which reason the easy functionality of the kitchen is of note - it is well equipped and three of us could work in it at once without feeling like we were running from pillar to post. It’s an easy hop, skip and a jump from river serenity into historic New Bern and its restaurants, nightlife, and blocks and blocks of lovely old homes to walk and explore, and the highway out to the beaches. Megan is a kind and generous host who I hope to meet on a less busy future visit. We hope to make Breathe Inn (so well named!) our home away when in New Bern.

We stayed in New Bern for one month. We always felt like we were home. The house is decorated nicely and had a nice study with a computer. The kitchen and dining room had a wonderful park like view.

Very clean, was as described. Safe, calm neighborhood. Plenty of space, extra towels, and easy, simple check out. We would definitely stay again if in the area

Andy’s property was beautiful and tucked away in a nice little neighborhood that made it feel like home. It was a nice distance from everywhere we wanted to go (about 5-10 minutes). We had some family over and it was great that there were so many recreational things to do in the garage (ping pong, corn hole, etc) to keep everyone preoccupied! I would definitely stay again if the opportunity arose!

We enjoyed this place so much. We felt welcome even before we approached the front porch that held a welcome sign. When it got dark outside, it was a "Wow" moment seeing the flickering lights surrounding the walkway. The screened back porch was a plus also. Let me also mention the coffee station... Absolutely Perfect. We just wished we had more time. Thank you so much!

Such a sweet home, Ganelle truly thought of everything. Every little inch of her home is decorated so tastefully. It was spotless and cozy upon arrival, she even had the faux fireplace and some creek side sounds playing when we got there. We were grateful for the spare room/chair beds, and I’m headed home to buy a new mattress just like the one in Room 1 😊 so comfortable! Our kids also enjoyed the toy/game cabinet - such a nice little touch that most people don’t bother with. Thanks so much for a great family stay!

Gabriela’s listing was right on and great for family of 6 close to family we were visiting very spacious great closet space just had everything you need that a hotel wouldn’t have . Any question I would have response was answered on a timely manner.

Enjoyed our stay, house was great and only a short drive to everything. Almost walking distance to the wedding venue we were attending. Would book here again our next time in New Bern

This was a wonderful place to stay at. It wasn’t too far out of town and the stay was amazing. I love how she had the like backyard built. 10/10 I would come back.

Our family enjoyed the convenience to the family that we were visiting, and everything was clean and working properly. There is a faucet in the kitchen sink that has the valves reversed from a normal installation, but I figured that out. There were plenty of chairs on the deck and the house was interestingly appointed and homey. I need a bit more light and I thought it could have been more bright in the master bedroom. The only thing my elderly mother complained about was that there was a flight of stairs to climb to get to the bathroom. Not much can be done about that, so I think it is a nice house to stay in and we would do it again. Mom probably won't make another trip there anyway. The A/C system works well and you can change the temps in various rooms. Kept us cool all the time.

We wanted a nice home to gather our Family together all in one place and this home was perfect for our needs and the best home we have stayed in with great hosts Sashay and Donte who would respond to our messages quickly and very accommodating about everything. The pictures are great of this home but honestly I think it is even more beautiful in person. Also great price for this home, we thoroughly enjoyed making family memories at this home. Highly recommend

Awesome centralized location, near family, beach, and base. I thoroughly enjoyed being able to watch the kiddos walk down the sidewalk to the restaurant to get some lunch. Delicious ice cream shop, and nice park and grocery store was also in walking distance. Quiet friendly neighbors, were a bonus. Thank you Carmen, next time please share a profile photo of yourself and inform guests that the 3rd bedroom is not accessible at the end of the hall . Being in a new place it was a little creepy. Overall great place to visit !!

My entire family group of 9 was very happy with the home and especially the view! Everyone had their own comfortable space and plenty of relaxation and gathering spaces. Danny and Jenny were very responsive to inquiries and issues. I highly recommend their home!
