Quite and breath taking scenary. Would recommend for a weekend get away.

This place was exactly what me and my friends needed for a weekend get away! The hot tub was amazing with such a beautiful view! A perfect spot to chill by the fire & not a far walk or drive to the river!! Jessica was fast at responding and even offered a list of different meats from animals that live on the farm. 10/10 would stay again.

We had a large group and the place was perfect for what we needed! Look forward to visiting again next time we are in Steelville to float!

My friends and I enjoyed our stay here, we would definitely recommend this place to our friends and family, and will come back in he future. The privacy this cabin offers while close to civilization and also the river, it's like they say in real estate: location location location. Jessica provided the fire wood, thank you, we had a great time sitting by the fire pit and watching the sun set, then the stars, and almost the sun rise. In the kitchen everything was so well organized, we found what we needed like we were at home. The linens smelled crisp , beds were so comfortable, the shower had hot steaming water, the jacuzzi we didn't even go in, but Jessica made sure she changed the water and was ready for us to enjoy, everything was just perfect. It's really easy to have a great time when the accommodations exceed the expectations. No hotel would have offered us so many home feeling like Jessica's cabin offered us. Thank you for your hospitality Jessica.

This was a perfect weekend getaway! My husband and I especially loved the rocking chairs and hot tub! We would definitely come back!

Tim was a very responsive host and was available to answer any and all questions! The house was clean and comfortable! Only thing to note is only 1 out of 2 bathrooms have a shower but I should’ve looked at that closer before booking - but us girls made it work fine! Bonus for the pool and hot tub being EXTRA clean!! The property is beautiful and so peaceful. We went floating through Blue Springs Ranch and had a GREAT time, only about 20 minutes from the cabin. The only thing I will say is that if you want to have RiverView Ranch pick you up at the cabin for floating that has to be coordinated far in advance which I wasn’t aware of! Overall we fell in love with this cabin and will definitely be coming back (:

We stayed at the Boathouse, a nice, roomy cabin in the woods over the river. It's a beautiful spot! The Jim Messina concert was excellent, and the dinner was too! Some of the included amenities were missing and needed to be restocked. The sunroom porch was a fun spot to hang out for the three days of rain. We will be back.

My daughter and I just needed some peace and quiet and that's exactly what we got. The cabin was so nice altho we spent most of out time on the deck overlooking the water and wooded area. Lots of great places to eat. We traveled the few miles to Cuba, Mo to eat, go to Walmart, and go to the antique malls. There is a nice little place to eat in Leasburg called Skippy's and the food is great and staff so friendly. There is also a Dollar Market in Leasburg that has anything you might need. We stayed a week but could have stayed there forever!! We would highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to just get away and decompress.

My son and I had a great stay. Very peaceful and quiet. They are pet friendly and my dog had a blast running around. Walking distance to the creek which you can fish or wade in. Doug and Roxanne are great host and make you feel right at home. Would recommend if you want to get away and relax.

We loved staying here! This was our first trip with our baby. Normally we like to camp and we weren’t quite ready for that yet! This was absolutely perfect. We loved the privacy of the woods which is what we love about camping with all the conveniences needed for a first time trip with baby! Melissa made sure there was a highchair and play pen both which were already set up for us. Such a thoughtful touch! We brought our dogs with us as well and they loved exploring the property! Melissa had pet items provided. The fire pit area and the open layout were our favorite parts. We loved exploring the town- we went to the zoo, park, and wineries. Great trip!

The place was nice and had a wonderful view of the lake. It has a screened in porch to hang out in. We went the week before it was fully staffed so most activities and meals were not available to us - which we were not aware of before arriving. There were still enough things to do. Manager was kind and accommodating and took time to give us a boat ride. We had awful storms one night and they had a good safety plan and management was helpful. Pros: had plenty of dishes, pans, utensils, towels. The queen bed was comfy and full size kitchen equipment was nice to have. Cons: the bunk beds are not great for adults with pain/back issues. There was no extra bedding (but we didn’t ask for any so that may be an option). Roads are rutted out so my low profile car had come issues driving in and out. We would definitely go back!

This small cozy cottage had everything! It's making me want to build one!! Adorable in every way, everything you could need. The interior design and build was done so well, completely professional, things feel new. . Large roomy shower, cute compact kitchen well stocked, with snacks even! Beds very comfy. Great mini split for a/c and heat. We felt at home right away. Some hosts just know how to do things right. Peaceful setting with the largest yard for my dog to romp in. Big as your own state park! Great location so close to the Mark Twain Park, and others. Want to come back and explore the area more.

Great stay in Cadet! It was comfortable, the playground for the kids made the weekend so easy! A fire in the evening for s'mores, lounge chairs to relax, and a close walk to the creek. Host was responsive when I had a question. We would definitely stay again

Cabin was perfect for my business trip to Purina farms. It was very close and so beautiful and peaceful to come back to. The ladies at the office were very friendly and helpful. I didn't use the campground facilities (pool, laundry, lake etc) but everything looked very clean and nice. Check in directions weren't completely correct so it was a little confusing if you arrive after 5pm but I was able to get ahold of someone with the after hours phone #

We loved the quiet, beautiful neighborhood; we loved learning the history of the home as well as the history of the area (we even got a fantastic rundown of the Battle of Pilot Knob by your local visitor center curator!); we loved Elephant Rocks, Caledonia, and Johnson’s Shut-Ins; and we loved our family movie nights in your family room. This was our second annual m tribe trip, both at this location. It fits of our needs and provides bedding, towels, kitchen needs and chairs for everyone in a big group. We love the private beach, both patios and the convenience of just walking down the hill to the beach. Also of note, each room has controls for the temp in your room and there are extra fans in the closets.
