Royal Hillsborough Cozy Cottage

DavidRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What more can you ask for! An immaculate, beautifully presented and cared for stone cottage, set in peaceful country surroundings, although still only a very short walk from the village of Royal Hillsborough, with all its essential amenities. The cottage is deceptively spacious and although traditional in appearance, is very contemporary with every fixture and appliance needed for a trouble free stay. Alison was an amazing host, who made sure everything was perfect! My family and I had a brilliant break in Northern Ireland, made all the better thanks to Alison and the cosy, Blue Door Cottage. Thank you!

Lovely, clean, comfortable home with modern decor. Felt very homely. Two of the bedrooms were a great size and beds super comfortable as well as lovely shower. Everything was provided to make your stay easy. Lovely welcome basket on arrival as well as milk, tea and coffee. Great location and easy to get everywhere. Leona was a super host and communication very prompt. Would highly recommend this property.

No.33 Coach House

HeatherRating, 5 stars3 months ago
King Charles & Queen Camilla were visiting Northern Ireland at the time of our visit. The King’s residence is in Hillsborough, the castle being right next to Lorna’s house so it was busy for the duration of our stay, however, a five minute walk we were in the beautiful forest with fabulous views of the lake. The parking was challenging (only because of the Royal visit) but we were able to find a space right outside! There were plenty of nice restaurants for meals and some nice local shops to browse. Lorna’s house was very well equipped, full of character and warm The welcome pack was a lovely touch.

The Barn - Hillsborough

AnnaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Myself and my husband stayed at the barn for our daughter’s first Christmas, along with our golden retriever. It was the perfect home from home, with a cosy interior and idyllic surroundings. We were there for two weeks but really felt like we could’ve stayed a lot longer! Really couldn’t recommend the barn enough. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Streamville Barn

NicolaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Cathrine was very welcoming and couldn't help us enough. She helped us find somewhere to eat and get a few things. Catherine even had bread, milk marmalade and eggs in the fridge for us. Which was very handy for us as we came a long distance. I would highly recommend this place to anybody .
