Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Cumberland

We loved the location as it was a quiet private area in a nice neighbourhood. The property had a very nice outdoor space- large table and chairs in a covered area, and lots of other seating. The home was as described and had everything we needed. The beds were both very comfortable for sleeping. Heaters were available for damp or chilly nights. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

We were in Cumberland for a mountain biking trip. The space was very cute, modern, clean and functional. Laura and her family were very friendly and respectful, their dogs were sweet and after a quick hello we never heard a sound or bark form them. Location is very central, we didn't need a car to get around town at all. Highly Recommend!

Raquel & Michaels home was the perfect place to help me transition during my move from Nova Scotia to BC! I stayed with them for 30 days while I was waiting for my rental to become available and I was made to feel “at home”. They provided very clear instructions for check in. The key pad made it easy to come and go. The place was clean & tidy, just like the pictures! Anytime I had a question, they were very quick to respond within minutes. They even brought me down a bottle of homemade cider which was a lovely treat! The location is only a few minute drive into the town of Courtenay so it was convenient to all necessities. My favourite feature though was that I could walk down the road 5 minutes to the seaside, where I saw the most incredible sunrises on multiple mornings before heading to work. Royston is the perfect place to feel at peace & if you enjoy good coffee/fresh baked goods, Royston Roasting was an awesome spot just a 4 minute walk away!! I’d stay here again in a heartbeat

This place deserves more than 5*s! Beautiful, peaceful location, where we were made to feel welcomed and at home from the get go. Keyolynn was an amazing host, so nice and gave us lots of recommendations which made our stay even more special. If you need a place to unwind and relax this is the place for you. Our only regret was we could not have stayed longer. A real utopia.

Daryl's place was great. Super clean and had everything you needed. Quiet, beautiful neighborhood. Host was very responsive. Beautiful property and backyard to sit in. Comfortable bed. They even had Mint Shampoo /Conditioner so it was nice to see supporting local small business. The snacks they left were thoughtful as well as a doggy dish. Daryl accommodated our dogs to stay with us which is GREATLY appreciated. Would definitely recommend if you are staying in the area. One of the best places we have stayed. Thank You !!!

We enjoyed our 2 nights stay at this peaceful Airbnb near Campbell River. The beach view from across the house was great. It is about a 20-minute drive from the main part of the town, the quiet and secluded setting made for a relaxing retreat- especially under the clear, star-filled skies. The outdoor fire table was a highlight and created the perfect atmosphere for winding down in the night. The house was clean and well- kept. The sauna worked perfectly, you can book it for a 90 minutes slot and it took about 30 minutes to get warmed up. The space has 3 bedrooms, 1 full bathroom, and 1 half bath. It still felt a bit compact for a larger group, but it worked well enough for our short stay. Overall, a comfortable and quiet spot with some great features. Ideal for those looking to unwind and enjoy nature- beach away from the crowds.

Kelly’s place is outstanding. We have stayed at his place a few times now and it’s a favourite in the area. The view is amazing, truly feels like you have the ocean and beach to yourself. Will keep coming back!

Such a lovely and peaceful home with a beautiful story behind it. The house has a special feeling — like it’s full of memories and warmth. Everything was clean and cozy, and Nicole was a thoughtful and kind host. We felt really connected to the place and would happily stay again!

We absolutely loved it here, big house perfect for family gatherings with kids. The garden is beautiful, you can tell how much love and effort this family has put into creating this amazing space. Outdoor amenities were the best part of it, plenty of things to do and games to play for the little ones who enjoyed seeing the bunnies and deers grazing in the yard. Anna and her family were super friendly and kind, helpful and responsive, and to me that makes a huge difference. The kind of people you want to rent from. I would recommend this place to anybody, specially families, it wont disappoint.

Bettina was great- She gave us personalized tips about the area. She brought us an extra mattress for us at the last minute request. Helped us carry things in. Kind and responsive. The pool was fantastic but not gated from the deck - For child safety supervision was a must when near the pool. I loved the covered areas and chez lounges provided and a hammock off the master bedroom on a private deck- lovely.

We were pleasantly surprised at the quality and convenience of this property. So much so, that we considered buying a cottage in this community. Our stay was a luxury experience. Kate and Fohla were wonderful hosts and gave us personal attention as needed. We will be back!

Great little get away. Pool was awesome, hot tub was great. Great fenced front yard for the dogs. Back yard was quite big to be able to play with the kids. Very clean and tones of room. Ryan was great to deal with. Will definitely rent again on our next trip down. Thank you

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The location is easy to find, close to the city and felt very peaceful. We really appreciated Leslie's and Mark's friendliness and hospitality and I would certainly come here to stay again in the future if I'm visiting the area.

The Funky Bunky is a lovely little cabin, very quiet and private. There’s amenities to make the stay smooth and simple, and the river right next to us was very pleasant to watch and listen to. Carol and Danny were very gracious hosts, very responsive and had everything we needed. Will be back again

We loved our stay at the yurt, it was one of our better AirBnb stays and perfect for this trip. We were close to the wedding we travelled for, but in a very quiet and private location. The yurt is near the other two dwellings on the property, but laid out in a way that makes it very private. Our kids loved the deck out front, the hammock seat, and of course the playground, and overall it was just a great place to unwind and spend time in between the family events of the wedding. We would highly recommend it, especially for families. Several books, games, and toys, a high chair and other amenities too.

We had a lovely, quiet and peaceful stay. The place was clean and had everything we needed. The shower products were lovely. The farm setting was perfect for us and we slept so well. Our little dog was immediately relaxed and right at home too. I enjoyed hearing the rooster in the morning (it wasn’t too loud, just right) and visiting the chickens/goats. Thanks for a great stay!

We really enjoyed this cute little suite! For the size, it is super well furnished and feels like a home. Lots of thought was put into making it a place for others to enjoy. Roch was very hospitable and gave us great suggestions for places to eat and things to see. Definitely recommend staying here!

Robert and Claire’s place was ideal! Super homey with high end kitchen condiments and surprise homey touches :) They’re lovely people and were very helpful with our questions. The location was close to everything but quiet and relaxing. Plus the bed was so comfy. We can’t say enough good stuff :) Great value.

I would have liked to be informed of the regulations concerning my dog ​​before paying and no longer being able to cancel. Not being able to leave the dog in the chalet when I'm not there prevented me from doing my activities. The main bed mattress hollows in the center and there is nothing above the stove to vent the cooking air so clothes take on the smell of what you are cooking. Otherwise superb place I even had the chance to see a bear there!
