Holiday rentals with lake access in Cyncoed

A massive thank you to Abbi, who has been an exceptional host. We had a fantastic time staying at the property. Not only is it a stunning property, but a great location, which was close to work and family for us. In addition to being a stunning area close to the mountains for walks and mountain biking. My husband and I are particularly grateful as Abbi allowed us to stay at the property for 5 months in total while renovations were being done to our home as we had unfortunately been through a flooding experience. Abbi was very flexible and allowed us as much time as we needed for the repairs to our home to be fully completed . Very friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. It was an answer to prayers in a very distressing time. We are extremely grateful and can’t recommend enough. We will miss staying at property as it’s stunning and very cosy; was very much like a temporary second home for us. Spacious place, including utility room and area out the back.🙌🙏

Great place plenty of space inside. Kitchen was done lovely bathrooms nice. Location great for the front near beach and close to restaurants at hill street. Comfortable beds quiet in the evenings. Parking was a problem very difficult to park near the house would be better with permits as so close to front. Otherwise a fantastic stay in good location.

You can't beat this location ! Our stay was absolutely amazing from the moment we booked. The host was incredibly accommodating and friendly for us since we arrived, which we really appreciated. The place is tucked away in a charming, friendly neighborhood that felt both peaceful and convenient. It’s close to everything we needed. The home itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and cozy. The thoughtful touch we loved was Emma’s charm —she really made us feel at home. I highly recommend staying here. It truly made our trip to Cardiff even more special and enjoyable :)

Clean and spotless laminate flooring downstairs, new carpet upstairs, clean linen, equipment, and utensils. Very well equipped. Flexible check-in and check-out. Excellent communication and quick response. Highly recommend it.

The Croft was a lovely place to stay, very clean and homely feeling! Both Amanda and Iain were very lovely and very helpful and we couldn’t thank them enough!

Brilliant venue for our group, great location by the park and close to cafés and central Cardiff, a great kitchen for socialising. Jay was easy to contact and friendly. Would definitely recommend !

We stayed here for our wedding night. Absolutely beautiful accommodation, lovely touch of petals on the bed. Grounds were stunning and I even had a cuddle with the resident ginger cat. Would love to stay again.

Fabulous location and easily walkable between both the exciting city centre and the culturally inviting Bay area. This accomadation quite rightly boasts its remarkable views of the river, is peaceful and private, modern, comfortable and yes, as cosy as stated! Seriously, the underfloor heating in the bathroom is a joy! This was my first visit to Cardiff and as a writer and tourist I can absolutely say my inspirations were tweaked! The hospitality of Gemma and Shaun was friendly, accomodating and respectful! Perfick!

Great place to stay if your in Cardiff city centre literally less than 10 mins to the stadium. The main road was busy when we stayed and it was quiet load in the front bedrooms so make sure the window is shut properly and use the fan supplied if it’s warm

Beautiful apartment with everything u need. Right next to the ocean, u could hear the waves in the night coming in. Would recommend :)

Great location for access to city centre.

The whole place is an experience in itself form the front desk, to the staff, and the animals. Everything was looked after and shaped to look luxe, even on a rainy day. The accommodation was exactly how it was depicted, showing true heritage and a creative way of using the space whilst being a novelty everything was very tasteful. I will be visiting again, thanks Lorraine and the team

A gorgeous mid-terrace cottage bursting with character. Great for dog owners, very well set up and amazing grounds with beautiful gardens to explore.

We had a lovely few days staying here, the weather wasn’t on our side however it didn’t spoil things. The accommodation was lovely, had everything we needed. Hot tub and sauna were simply perfect. The hosts were fabulous and we would definitely recommend this accommodation. The children loved the open space, the football goal and the chickens and geese. Thank you for allowing us to have a few days away in such a lovely place 🩷

We’ve just returned from the most delightful short break in a beautiful college cottage tucked away in the heart of Wales. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort — tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of character. Surrounded by rolling hills and the peaceful sounds of nature, it felt like a true escape from the everyday. This little haven gave us the peace and quiet we craved, along with the warmth and welcome of a truly special place. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of our return xx

A truly magical, cosy, and charming cottage! It was perfect for us, our daughter and our dog - we only wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, we made use of the decking in the garden with lovely views over the hills. The garden was a bit unkempt, it could do with weeding etc. the hand soap in the bathroom was pretty much empty & only one spare toilet roll. The one on the toilet holder only had a small amount left on it. In saying this it was a great place to stay & would definitely come back here again

We required a convenient place to stay with 3 small grandchildren (4, 2 and 11 months) while my daughter and son in law were at a wedding. The house was just right for our needs and the location was great for going on walks in the nearby Parc Calon Lân. We also found the local playground which - although in need of a bit of TLC was a hit with the 4 and 2 year old. We were thankful that the weather was nice and that we could be outdoors.
