About the Go To Travel Campaign

The Go To Travel Campaign is a government-funded program in which domestic travel will be subsidized up to half of the total trip cost. 70% of the subsidy will be a discount at the time of booking, and 30% of the subsidy will be issued as vouchers that can be used during travel.

Eligible listings for discounts will be marked with a “GO TO” label on the search results page once we are able to verify the listing(s) with Step 3 as above. The discount will begin when the "GO TO" label appears on the photo of your listing(s). Please note that this label will replace the current Superhost label during the Campaign period.

During the Campaign period, guests who book a listing on Airbnb will receive a travel discount equivalent to 35% of the cost of the trip (capped at 14,000 yen per person per night). In addition to this discount, guests will receive a coupon worth 15% of the trip cost (up to a maximum of ¥6,000 per person, per night) to be spent during their trip.

If a guest cancels a booking for a discounted listing, the host may receive less than the amount paid under the normal cancellation policy.
