We very much enjoyed our stay at Heidi’s house - amazing rooftop, great terrace, and the staff is so kind. We received a warm welcome and felt comfortable and relaxed throughout our stay. Heidi even helped us organize a tour and gave us good restaurant tips. I can really recommend her place!

Great location, we really liked how quiet and peaceful the area is. The aircon works great and saved us from the heat. Diane is a great host, always responsive and helpful. This place is highly recommended.

Roxanne's listing was a very welcome oasis in a bustling city. Located just a few minutes from the nearest mall and restaurants but it was very private and gives you the feeling it's in a secluded location,quiet with fresh lush garden. Her staff were also kind and helpful with ready genuinely welcoming smiles on their faces. Would definitely stay again for sure.

I love how clean, convenient and quiet the place is. We really had a cozy stay at this place! We will come back next time we are in the city.

Hey, my family loved the whole place. Really peaceful and we feel right at home. Food was great too, plus the view was divine. The things the place lacks though is more visible signage especially during nighttime, and when it would rain the road leading up ( it’s already included in the property) have a lot of potholes. Full of sludge and the vehicles would have a hard time going up.

The room is okay if you are looking for a place to just sleep in. The bed is very comfy and the AC in my room works well. The room is not pristine clean but it will do if you're not a clean freak. It is nearby famous restaurants like Ocho, Sal's, XYZ and others. There's also a nearby market where you can buy fresh seafoods and at night there are stalls of people selling barbecue that are affordable and tastes good. In case you need medicine supplies there's a nearby mercury drug. Their wifi is a bit unstable but it works just fine if you work from home. Overall, the price is affordable for me because this hotel is a good deal.

Had a great stay. All amenities listed were accurate. Always a plus when there's drinking water provided (both hot and cold). Loved the ambiance of the place, felt like I was in another time period. Jacob was very responsive as well. The house was centrally located in downtown Tacloban, so everywhere was walkable. Room for improvement: Lots of stray hair (female) in bedsheet and floor of my room. Wifi dropped out sometimes, esp when it rained.

In any case, an extraordinary place, a truly well-hidden gem. Sure, you can't drive your big car right up to the house, but you'll get more than the pictures promise. Everything you need to know is in the instructions. Read them carefully. And there is Raffy. He looks after the house, lives there himself with his family and makes all the guests' wishes come true. An exceptionally well-informed, courteous and discreet person. His English is perfect, even German is part of his repertoire. A big recommendation. I'll be back any time!
