Great location for access to tons of hiking, flyfishing and other outdoor activities in the beautiful Bitterroot valley. Large shower with dual shower heads, stainless appliances and plenty of room to cook, two large decks for outdoor lounging and grilling. Note: the last mile or so is a primitive road. Trucks and sedans are fine but any vehicle with a low profile isn't recommended

The Cottage at Farmstead Hollow

The Cottage is a delightful retreat in the foothills of the gorgeous Bitterroot Mountains, 2 miles outside of Hamilton, Montana. We are a family of four living the good life on our small working farm and The Cottage is our vacation rental nestled into the center of our property. Complete with it's own driveway and nicely fenced off from the rest of the busy goings on of the barnyard, it is separate from our space, but animal sights and sounds are sometimes a part of the experience.

The open living area is cozy with, a flat screen TV for entertainment and a traditional wood stove for cool Montana evenings. A perfect location for a weekend getaway or an extended stay for a rejuvenating remote work environment. The kitchen is well-equipped for home cooking plus the Hot Tub is a bonus!

Just off HWY- 93, our tiny, cabin offers a place to relax by the creek. It includes high-speed Wifi, kitchenette. All just a stroll from the Bitterroot River (East fork). There is plenty of hot water in a spacious shower. Soak in the hot tub NEXT DOOR off our back deck. Note: the cabin includes a Nature's Head composting toilet and a small loft with single bed. We love having guests bring pets but do charge a small fee of $10 per pet per night.
