We had a wonderful stay! The place is cozy, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The location is perfect — close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. The view from the apartment is absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning. Everything was clean and well maintained. We would definitely come back and recommend it to anyone visiting the area. A Perfect Winter Escape with Stunning Views! What a fantastic winter getaway for our group of eight! WenResting's waterfront views are even more breathtaking in person. The house is incredibly spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating our large group without feeling crowded. We loved the cozy living areas, and the reverse-cycle air conditioning was a blessing on the chilly evenings. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed, and having all the linen and towels provided was a thoughtful touch. Kellie was a brilliant host, friendly and communicative and made the entire check-in process effortless. The location is second to none. Being just a short, scenic stroll from the footbridge made exploring Lakes Entrance an absolute breeze. The spectacular views and warm, inviting atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. We only had 1 night at this B&B (last night). Ling met us on arrival with an umbrella because it was absolutely pouring rain. Everything was nicely presented and once we turned the heating on we were nice and cosy and warm. Everything in the way of amenities was supplied. The continental breakfast was sufficient with lots of choices of cereal, toast and fruit and everything is dairy free so we enjoyed our first Oat Milk Cappuccino and really enjoyed it. We loved the authenticity and ambience of the cottage and the peaceful surrounds. For those who live a nice open wood fire this is a perfect spot. All close to beautiful sites, especially Yackandandah and Beechworth.

Our second trip here and definitely won’t be our last, it’s amazing and Sonja is so helpful and responsive, close to everything you need and such a beautiful location, thanks again Sonja and co. Highly recommend

This cabin is a real gem. Genuine peace and quiet, a true escape from humanity, exactly what I was after. Right on the river, I sat down on the perfectly located seat and listened to the rushing water for hours. It was clean, exactly as described and there is no doubt I will be back again someday. We really enjoyed our stay at Melinda’s Airbnb. It was in a great location, easy to find and access, the fire was alight when we arrived and the space was very warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed the decor and found the space clean and tidy. We had a slight mishap with the shower which has a narrow entry. We would recommend bringing your own pillows (we unfortunately forgot ours). The yard is great for leashed toilet walks for dogs. We were mindful that we could hear people on the other side of the adjoining door which is just something to note but wasn’t particularly intrusive. Overall, would recommend and we would stay again. Melinda was a great host.

Gary was a great host and this is now one of my favourite ever stays. A beautiful off grid cottage, that is amazingly large and spacious considering the price and location. we travelled with a baby and Gary made sure to have a high chair ready and waiting for us when we arrived! I can't wait to bring my family back again.

What a beautiful weekend away in the tranquil walnut farm groves of the apline region - with birds-sheep-cattle-foxes to keep us company- and our dog could run around and enjoy life while the fire kept us toasty warm. Ronaldo has completely undersold this place as a gem for the region - will visit again

A wonderful, peaceful place! The views are beautiful. Especially at dawn. Friendly host and animals. Rolly, the canine concierge, especially. Our dogs particularly loved this Airbnb. Probably their most favorite ever! Excellent gravel bike rides close by. The house is an authentic Australian farmhouse. A mixture of eclectic design elements. Very loved and visited by treasured family. Staying here took me back to visiting friend's parents farms fifty years ago! Except for the sparkling new Bali inspired bathroom! Very comfy beds, warm living spaces, heaps of kitchen things, a wonderful library and a strong sense of family history. No airs and graces. Honest, country hospitality. Congratulations on a lovely place! We loved our stay and hope to return.

We had a wonderful stay at Jan’s place. It was the perfect place for a cold winter weekend. We loved the fireplace and the bbq. It was shame that it rained the whole time, otherwise we would’ve used the fire pit too. The cottage had everything we needed to cook our meals. The bed was very comfortable. The place had a small secure dog pen where my dog could be off leash. There were also towels and bowls for dogs. The perfect bushwalker, dog lover and nature seeker get-a-away with all the basic necessities for a comfortable and scenic stay. The large fully fenced area around the cabin was perfect for my eager border collie and husky to roam independently. Also lots of dog friendly walks to drive to, although the area is mostly surrounded by National Parks, so super great for walking without dogs too. The cabin is warm with closed-in fireplace and open plan rustic style with all the necessities so plenty of room for a couple. And the enclosed garden lovely for evenings under the stars or breakfasts in the sun. I loved it! Big Smiles…

We had a very comfortable stay with my dog. It was our second time at Mad on the Buckland. Kay was an absolutely wonderful host. We didn’t know there was a festival happening in Bright until Kay kindly let us know. Thanks to that, we were able to visit Bright just in time and enjoy the festival without missing a thing. The location is perfect for visiting nearby places, and we had such a peaceful and relaxing vacation. Thank you, Kay!

I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this accommodation. Very clean, comfortable lounge and was great to have amenities such as free car park, washing machine, dryer, dishwasher, heating. The location is very peaceful and we saw wild deer walking past the property which was a great experience to truly feel like we were away from the hustle and bustle. Beautiful view of the mountains from the property, we felt very relaxed. Thank you for letting us stay and we hope to return one time in the future.

We were only able to stay one night but really enjoyed our time there. The flat is the perfect size for a small family and was very clean. We would definitely stay again if we come back.

Wonderful winter stay at Upper Lurg. 3 couples could not have loved the house more on a cold weekend. Facilities and space were amazing with everything you could need. The pool looked a bit cool at 7 degrees but we could see outdoor summer entertaining being amazing, the spaces, the outdoor cooking area all looked amazing, was ready to crank up the pizza oven. If only the chickens were laying eggs. The location was amazing for the King Valley Wineries. Easy drive to all the Valley. Will plan another visit.

Awesome Spot in Bright – Can’t Recommend It Enough Just got back from a stay at Linda’s place in Bright and honestly, it was unreal. The house is super comfortable, spotless, and has a really warm, welcoming vibe. It felt more like staying at a good friend’s home than a rental. Everything was easy from the start — Linda was great to deal with, really responsive and friendly, and made sure I had everything I needed. She’s clearly put a lot of thought into the space. The kitchen was fully set up (even had decent coffee gear), the bed was really comfy, and there were heaps of little touches that made it feel extra special. The location is spot on — peaceful and quiet, but still really close to town. If you’re thinking of heading to Bright, definitely book this place.

We loved our stay at beautiful Kangaroo Lodge! From the stunning views to the cosy fireplace, everything in the house was perfect. We loved watching the kangaroos graze right outside each morning, and enjoyed spectacular sunsets from the spa. Would love to come back one day!
