The host was very accommodating and hosted us in another place since the listing had urgent electrical works being conducted. The place where we were hosted was beautiful and bang on! 10/10

Positives: 1. In a busy market area yet not noisy as the apartment is inside. 2. Very friendly host. Arranged car for us when the Mobile Internet services were down due to exams for Assam Government employment. Took trouble of getting us Mishti Dohi, when my wife enquired about it. The 5 star rating is due to the friendly nature of host. 3. Two bedrooms sufficient to sleep 4. There is a living cup dining room and a kitchen. One of the bedrooms has an AC and attached toilet. Negatives 1. Soaps and moisturising lotion left by previous occupant was still in bathroom. 2. The attached bathroom shower handle was coming off. It was not clear how to control the geiser in that bathroom 3. The common bathroom shower was only providing lukewarm water inspite being switched on for more than 15 minutes. The host could not be contacted on Sunday when we were leaving till 10AM as he was sleeping. He may provide alternate telephone numbers to contact. Also wifi details can be provided at checkin

The place is very good including her mom and dad who hosted us with great amenities. I would always recomend the place to others also.

The check in was seamless, Mrinmoy was very responsive. The care taker Babu also offered to help us by bringing what ever essentials we needed. The property is spotless and very close to GS road. Several great restaurants around. Although it’s very close to the road, there is no noise of vehicles as the house is located on a dead end street. It was a great stay, would definitely recommend Ixora city homestays

Great stay! The apartment was cozy, clean, comfortable and exactly as listed. Comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen to whip up a homely meal. Its situated in a peaceful location but close to shops and restaurants. The host was friendly and responsive. One minor suggestion would be to add a vanity mirror in the bedroom.

The interiors are massive and super spacious. The photos don't do enough justice to show just how big the whole place really is! Plenty of light sources ensured there was never a dim corner, and the many windows filled the rooms with ambient sunlight. The kitchen was stocked with all the essentials (and more), which allowed for a superb cooking experience that was right on par with home. The neighbourhood is calm and quiet, and though the property is close to the train station, I didn't hear any train horns that were loud and annoying. You really have to listen intently to even notice. Groceries and vegetable stands within 100m of the property were the icing on the cake. Would recommend it to any traveller.

The place was nice. What stood out was the responsiveness of host. He always responded and took care of every request made. He arranged for extra bedding and as well allowed us for little late checkout due to our flight timings. The stay was pleasant. Will definitely recommend.

We stayed as a family of 6 in Mondeep's apartment. The apartment was well equipped to host that group. All amenities were as described. Best part was its on the 8th floor with ample sunshine and air - with a view of the majestic Brahmaputra. The projector room was fun to watch cricket and football matches in a grand way. The location is great and near to the ropeway, river front, and cruise terminals. Lots of cafes and restaurants around for food. Would recommend it for a nice stay in Guwahati. Cons - Had a slight water situation when the pump failed for the building, but thankfully we were ready and didn't face any inconvenience. Bedrooms lack locking mechanism which should be fixed by installing door bolts.
