Small, but thoughtfully equipped. *winter 2025 is byo towels and linen due to a new baby and no capacity to do linen. Price altered accordingly. Within 10 minutes to the tourist town of Bright, and in close proximity to Falls Creek and Mt Hotham, only a short 45 minute drive away for hiking & skiing. Horse stays are also an option, with trail riding close by!

Little Farm Accommodation

We are nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps,close to Bright. There is a crystal clear stream suitable for trout fishing nearby. Our little farm consists of cattle, chickens, two dogs, chestnuts and blueberries and bountiful Australia wildlife. The cottage(bedsit) is self contained and private, with one double and two single beds plus a very large shady garden with a BBQ and Gazebo. Pets are welcome. We very much welcome international travelers to this beautiful area.

The Murray to Mountains Rail Trail is right on our doorstep and we are also directly behind the Bright golf course- so pack your clubs! From Green Gables, it is an easy walk, ride or drive into the township of Bright with its boutique shops and eateries, regular festivals and of course beautiful European style landscape all nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps.

Bushies Love Shack

Welcome to Bushies Love Shack. The naming of the love shack came about upon purchasing the property some 8 years ago. Fay's father, at the time 90 years of age, and his girlfriend, 91 years of age, automatically named it the Love Shack as they envisaged, once renovated, them sitting in bed, playing cards and taking in the view and so the name stuck. In keeping with the name, we have created a luxurious, romantic space for two.
