Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Davao Oriental

The place was big enough to accommodate our big family for two nights. The met with the owner on our first day and introduced the caretaker who accommodated all our needs. They even let us use the living room for the boys to sleep. The wide parking area was the playground of the kids. They even cooked our rice when we got home from a beach trip. We enjoyed the place, the amenities and we'll definitely stay there again if we come back to Compostella for another trip. Thank you, Ryan

This was the perfect family-friendly spot, made our Baganga getaway stay even more memorable. The place has a modern touch of homy cozy feels that surpassed our expectations with a budget wise deal. Perfect getaway for family or group of friends. Sam’s place has everything one needs to keep visitors relaxed and engaged. My family stayed here and they were very happy. The kids spent their time playing ping pong, billiards, volleyball and basketball while the older generation spent hours singing their hearts out using the karaoke. Beach is also nearby. I highly recommended this place. I will book this again if we visit Mati.

Host are so responsive, they provide anything you need as long as they can provide. We came for summerfrolic event but it’s a bit far from there, thats why they provide us a motorcycle FOR FREE. They also provide WALKIE TALKIE for easy communication if we do have concerns. Place has strong wifi too. Place is safe and peaceful. In addition, my iPhone was left at their place or I didn’t know where exactly but they follow me to terminal to return it. We are truly grateful for them and surely to recommend. God bless!

So far the cheapest overnight stay for 5 in mati. Would highly recommend this place. Not only it is clean but the neighborhood is peaceful and private.

Greet place, near the dahican beaches. Very responsive host when we asked questions, and what a wonderful place. So pretty and so many amenities. We enjoyed the card games, especially scrabble. Will most definitely book this again!

the price includes 4 tipi huts but when we arrived, 1 tipi hut was broken so the staff told us to occupy the other tipi hut but i asked the staff if we can convert 2 tipi huts into 1 (2-storey) airconditioned room instead and they allowed us with no extra charge. when we arrived, the accommodation was not yet ready so we waited for a few minutes. the place is clean and staff was friendly. they provided complete kitchen equipment and disposable spoon and pork, they also prepared the bonfire at night and they gave us free coffee and biscuits in the morning. they also have karaoke but its not free the staff said it cost 500 pesos. we enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again.

2nd stay at this house for work travel purposes. Will book again on the next audit season!

The host-very responsive. The place- perfect for unwinding and for some family time. Private place, the wind the waves just what you need for a perfect vacation. The caretakers- very hospitable. Kind and you can depend on everything you need. You want it, they’ll provide it. Over all, such a nice place to relax and nice people to deal with. Thank you and more power.

Special thanks to Kuya Rene for promptly guiding us to the property. The place offers excellent privacy and a serene beach experience—we had the whole beach to ourselves! It’s perfect for a peaceful getaway and has great potential as a retreat. Future guests should note that the road leading to the property is not yet fully developed and paved, and toll fees may apply when passing through a private lot. However, once you arrive, the property matches the description and photos. The beach is shallow during low tide, which is great for kids, though swim/aqua shoes are recommended for the stones and sea grass. As always in Baganga, be mindful of the currents and sudden changes in underwater depth ("kantil"). During high tide, the natural breakwater ensures calmer waves, making it even more enjoyable.

A small house perfectly located not far from Dahigan beach. It is an excellent base for visiting the surroundings and resting. Outdoor shower and grill are a real plus. The switchover was very good.

We had a great stay! The place is clean, with fresh sheets and multiple bathrooms with heaters—super convenient. It's right on the beach, with lots of tables and chairs outside, perfect for chilling and group meals. The beach is better for surfing than swimming, as the water is quite shallow. Signal is weak, and there was no Wi-Fi at first, but it became available later. The host gave a heads-up about insects and animals—there were a lot—but the staff provided us with OFF lotion, which helped a lot. Despite that, we were comfortable and had a fun, relaxing time. My family loved it, and we’ll definitely look forward to staying again next time we're back in the province! <3

Alfred’s place is incredible. We honestly did not expect the place to be welcoming, spacious and peaceful. The surf spot that we are looking for is just right in front of this home which we definitely love. The caretakers are very responsive and kind. We also felt safe as we noticed Kuya Rolly always present at the front yard, and is making sure we are not being priced too much whenever we go around the town. If not for the stronger internet connection we need for work, we would have stayed longer. This is the best place to relax

The place was nice and quiet with lots of room to stay. For people who loves it surf or want to surf in Davao , this place is very close to Dahican beach. Beautiful ocean there .

Communicating with Trisha was very easy. She was also upfront about the power issues that they usually have in the area. We proceeded to book despite her warning. The place is about 1 hour away from Mati. It's very private, gorgeous and clean. We brought along our 2 dogs (a golden and a lab) and they had so much fun playing at the beach! It's not ideal for kids because of the rocks but the neighbor's beach front was perfect for our dogs. Also, while the beach isn't white sand, it is pebbly so it's not painful to go barefoot. Another bonus was their dipping pool! While we unfortunately did experience a power outage on the morning of our departure, overall we had fun here! If you're looking for a private pet-friendly secure beach front house, which comes with the very helpful Ate Inday, this is the place for you 😊

Such a cozy and spacious place! The host was very kind and accommodating. It looked just like the photos, had complete wares, and felt so homey. My friends loved it too—they even want to copy the interior design! Exceeded our expectations. Would definitely stay again!

I had a wonderful time at Bay Mau Homestay. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything I needed. The location was perfect for relaxing and especially those with pets since the unit is gated. Communication with the host was quick and easy. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
