Holiday houses in Dawson County

My husband, 2 big dogs and I had a mostly restful stay here in this spacious place. It’s a comfortable place with an awesome fenced, grassy backyard for the dogs to play. We hope to visit again if we pass through town! I say “mostly restful” because the dogs were very interested in the noises from the other dogs in the neighborhood while it was still light out. I was a little concerned that the train noises would rouse them, but they didn’t, and honestly the nearby train noises helped me sleep better, because I grew up with something similar.

This is a great place to stay. Dan responds immediately to questions, he's professional and friendly. This was our third stay here and we look forward to more in the future.

Love this great little get away, we come here annually and it feels like a home away from home! Hosts are always responsive and friendly!

The house was amazing. It was spotless on our arrival. The electronic key was excellent, it allowed easy access without having to worry about losing a key. The house was beautiful with each room impecably laid out and identified by its own suite name. The location was perfect, an easy walk to the marina, resteraunt, ice cream shop and recreational areas! There is no doubt we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas! The Lakehouse is spacious and welcoming. Ericka is a gracious and accommodating host. Highly recommend!

Was the perfect spot for our golf trip through Nebraska. Kressy thinks of all the details to make the place perfect for your stay. Everyone in our group had their own room and a nice queen bed. Nice new refridgerator for our big end of day meals. The deck opens up on a nice quiet natural space. Kressy was very responsive whenever we needed help. Would highly recommend this place to anyone passing through Gothenberg. We were really comfortable and all our needs were met.

This rental was great! The house was neat, clean, and larger than expected. It was loaded with things to keep you entertained (fire pit, grill, tons of water toys, golf cart). There are several areas in and around the house to hang out as a small group. Being able to dock our boat right outside was super convenient. We were very impressed with this house and would go there again!

Jake’s Lakehouse was an amazing place to stay with some friends who just wanted to hang out at the lake for a weekend. I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing weekend away with family and/or friends!

We had a great time! The cabin was clean, cozy and in a great location. The deck overlooking the quiet cove was our favorite place to hang out and take in the view . We were able to tie up our boat to the dock easily and when ever we needed anything the marina and convenience store was just a short boat ride away. The cabin was well equipped with all the necessities you could need to have some great family time! And that we did! Looking forward to coming back and doing it again sometime for sure!!
