Holiday rentals with lake access in Daylesford

We absolutely loved our stay at Geraldine’s gorgeous home. It was warm, spacious, and inviting—perfect for our trip to Ballarat during the tournament when the weather outside was anything but kind. The beds were comfortable and warm, and there was plenty of room for everyone to relax. The house was spotless and clearly very well looked after, with thoughtful family memorabilia throughout that added character without feeling cluttered. The kitchen was well-equipped, so we didn’t need to second-guess whether to bring basics like salt, tea, or coffee. Geraldine had everything covered, including a beautiful welcome basket and a generous supply of cleaning products. All in all, this cozy, welcoming home made our stay truly memorable. We’ll definitely look back on our time here with great fondness. Highly recommend!

The house was beautiful, even better than what we imagined from the photos. Would definitely love to visit again. Parking during daytime was an issue being on one of the busy roads in Ballarat but otherwise it was perfect.

Doreen’s place is absolutely gorgeous! If you are heading to Ballarat, look no further. Great location - walking distance to Sovereign Hill, 5 min drive from central shops and restaurants. Massive space, especially great if you have kids. Our 4 year old loved the kids area with books, toys. Our family was very comfortable and we had a very comfortable stay.

This was our second time staying at Richard's lovely country property. The kids loved the open space, and playing with their remote control boat on the little dam. The gardens and surrounds were lovely, with easy access to Daylesford and Hepburn Springs shops/ pubs etc, and the communication and instructions from Richard were excellent!

The home was very warm and cosy, particularly for such a cold long weekend. The home was clean and very well designed and laid out. We had all that was needed for a comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! Simon and Ru are amazing hosts-were very friendly and helpful!The place felt very homely and comfortable, making it easy to settle in. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The neighborhood was lovely—quiet, safe, and convenient for exploring the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would definitely choose to stay again on our next visit. Highly recommended!

Absolutely excellent property. I stay at quite a few Airbnbs for work and I can easily say that this is a standout property and host. A whole bunch of little details; like arriving on a rainy day to find the host had specifically turned the heater on for us already, providing a fresh loaf of bread (and condiments) and bottle of milk, excellent well appointed bedrooms, great bathroom ect the list goes on. I don’t usually leave reviews this detailed but this one is an exception. Will definitely be trying to book this one next time I’m working in Ballarat. 5 stars in every category easily.

Our stay at the apartment was very enjoyable. James has the apartment set up perfectly for guests with a few added extras. It is spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay relaxed and comfortable. It was within walking distance to shops and restaurants and perfectly positioned for our swimming competition. This was a great place to stay, the view out over Albert park was gorgeous and you could see it from the bedroom. We found heaps of great restaurants close by, walking distance if you felt like it. Tamara was very helpful and responsive, even for late messages, would highly recommend.

We had a lovely two-night stay at Kurt and Nanette’s place in Golden Point, Ballarat. Kurt greeted us on arrival and was warm and welcoming, which set the tone for a great stay. The heater had been turned on beforehand, making the space feel cozy and comfortable on a chilly Ballarat afternoon. The bed was very comfortable, and we truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches. There was a generous selection of treats provided, everything we needed for a relaxed and enjoyable visit. The space was spotlessly clean, well-appointed, and perfect for a short getaway. We would highly recommend it and would be very happy to stay again.

This was our third stay at 'Albert View'. Great apartment. Close to public transport, restaurants and convenient stores. The view is magnificient - St. Kilda Boulevard, Botanic Gardens and the city skyline. Anna is a great host, very approachable and always available to assist with any inquiries. Highly recommended. We will be back again soon - a home away from home!

Highly recommend this place. Livio was an excellent host and nothing was a problem. Helpful local advice. The flat was very clean and well maintained and, most importantly, it felt like home.

Louise’s apartment was just perfect! Cosy and full of charm. We felt so at home. The apartment was perfectly set up and had everything we could possibly need. The location was great with trams, cafes, restaurants, a supermarket and Albert Park all out the front door. Louise is a fabulous host! She was so helpful and made our stay seamless. She even left lovely birthday surprises for the girls. Highly recommend!

This was a great accommodation. My fiance and I stayed for a night and made full use of the pool and spa. The apartment was clean and cosy. I would definitely stay here again.

My mum, sisters and I had the most beautiful stay at Julian and Susie’s! The cottage was absolutely perfect and so cosy, not to mention how stunning the surrounding gardens/views were. We enjoyed every moment and hope to book another stay there again! Thank you Julian and Susie for being wonderful hosts and making our stay one to remember.

The house is clean and peaceful, beautifully located by the lake. It’s especially delightful to take a stroll at sunset. I really enjoyed my stay and hope to visit again in the future.

Thank you Neal for a lovely 2 night stay. The accommodation was very cozy with the fire going on arrival and a good supply of wood to keep it going. Newstead is a quiet town where you can go walking along the Loddon River and the house is in a very quiet and private setting. We really enjoyed the little extras such as chocolate and biscuits etc. I would definitely recommend staying here as it is only a short drive to Maldon and other beautiful towns.

Great place especially with the fur babies and they were welcomed! Stephanie was a great communicator and always on hand if you needed something ! Very private regardless of the number of cottages on site! We will be back ❤️

Great place close to Sovereign hills! The house is exactly like the pictures and really clean and cozy. Beds were also super comfy with heating under the beds to keep you warm and toasty! No complaints about this place at all. Very good! Thank you Linda! My family had a really comfortable stay.

Elbert’s place was fantastic, amazing get away from the city - Elbert had the fire going and the pizza oven all set up and ready to go. The Cottage is cozy and warm in the winter weather, we would highly recommend a weekend getaway at Elbert’s Cottage. Thanks for a wonderful Stay
