A bit of a museum of sorts, the apartment is not only a safe and comfy place to stay, but to learn about Haiti and the work of PeaceCYCLE & others. Fully stocked with everything you need, but also just a short walk from downtown restaurants.

The Homestead

The Homestead has been in our family for over 170 years. This ranch style farmhouse was built in the early 1960's. This Homestead is located on 40 acres, with over an acre here with the home. The Homestead features 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bath, with an open area to the living, kitchen, and dining area. The house is partially carpeted and ceramic tile, and is fully furnished including the kitchen. This is located out in the country surrounded by farm fields, so very peaceful and private.

Quaint cottage style 2 bedroom home located in the downtown area of Decatur IN. This home has a master bedroom with a comfortable queen bed that sleeps 2. Blackout curtains and vintage cottage decor. The second bedroom has two plush twin beds. There is a fully stocked kitchen and a washer and dryer to do laundry. The private patio is a nice spot to relax in the morning with coffee or to wind down at sunset.

Quiet Country Corner

Come enjoy the wide open country space in our quiet and peaceful guesthouse. Although you will be surrounded by solitude you will be just minutes from several towns. Enjoy the quiet of the surrounding fields and woods along with the beauty of the pond year round. The guesthouse is attached to our home but the garage is in between the two so it is very quiet for everyone. You will have your own private entrance.

Whether you are enjoying one of the eateries in Downtown Decatur, taking in a movie or simply having a drink with friends - The Nest provides a great place to stay in the middle of it all. We offer two queen sized beds in the larger of the two bedrooms and a full sized bed in the second bedroom. Large wall mounted televisions in the living room and main bedroom will provide entertainment for our guests.
