Chicken house dome

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Stayed for 2 nights for a wedding in the local area. Beautiful, peaceful, unique little chicken house dome, clearly built with love by Doug. Spotlessly clean, beautiful views and everything you could need is provided for a weekend in the Welsh countryside. Host was super friendly and responsive, and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely touches leaving us fresh milk, Welsh cakes etc! Would definitely stay again if we were in Brecon - thanks so much Doug and Judy 😊

Auld Ffynnon, Trecastle, Brecon Beacons.

ChrisRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Venetia and her husband were great hosts, left us alone for the week but always ready to give advise and provided a map to help with our navigation. On arrival to the lovely accommodation which was immaculate, local biscuits and cake were waiting for us and every thing was provided to make our stay comfortable. The weather wasn't great but we managed to get out and about visiting, Brecon the four waterfalls, Red Kites and a Nature Reserve to name a few. This was our first visit to the Brecon Beacons, having been to most areas in Wales and we loved it, with lots of places to visit either walking or driving and lots of eating places. Overall this was a great stay and we shall return. Thank you Venetia for helping to make this a lovely Holiday. Chris and Lorraine

The place was super cosy and comfortable with everything that we needed. Stunning, peaceful surroundings, great local pub called the Shoemaker’s Arms nearby where we had a delicious dinner. Anna was very responsive and helpful. Great base to explore Brecon Beacons, comfy beds, great walks nearby, just a lovely place and space to relax. Highly recommended ✨!

We had a lovely stay! We felt very comfortable, the hut is located in a private spot on the farm with an incredible view. Perfect for having a drink with a fire in the evening. For sure, we’ll be back!

The Old Nursery

MichelleRating, 5 stars4 days ago
This was one of the best AirBnB rentals we’ve ever stayed in. The instructions made it easy to find. Helen our host and family were lovely and full of great recommendations. The accommodation was perfect and so comfortable, a real home from home. Located centrally for The Brecons, surrounded by great places to eat and within easy reach of Cardiff and the coast. Absolutely loved it. We’re going to be recommending ‘The Old Nursery’ to family and friends.

Huw’s Hut @ Penwern...a delightful escape

HollyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Great spot for a birthday weekend (even with the hiking) Stayed at Huw’s Hut for my partner’s birthday and had a brilliant weekend. Julie was a lovely host — friendly, easy to communicate with, and everything was exactly as described. The hut is in a peaceful spot with great views. We (read: *he*) decided that climbing Pen y Fan, Cribyn, and Corn Du counted as “birthday fun” — I went along with it, but the hot tub was my real reward. It was perfect even in the rain — warm, relaxing, and well worth firing up after a long day on the hills. Cozy space, great location, and a memorable stay. Would happily return — ideally with fewer uphill miles next time.

Ash Tree Cottage

SineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The pictures didn’t do the cottage justice - it far exceeded our expectations downstairs. A lot more space! The hot tub day (views & daffodils) and night ( starry skies) was a real bonus. The wood burner and big sofas were great for an evening of card games. Keri and Heidi couldn’t have been more helpful. Thank you.
