Beachfront holiday rental in Dehiwala

Our family had a wonderful time at Villa Esta. It was very spacious & the staff were wonderful, & very helpful. The chef was also very good & made some delicious Sri Lankan meals as well as some light meals when requested. We had a lovely dinner on the beach on our last night. The beach was very clean & my children enjoyed surfing lessons right in front of our villa. We enjoyed visiting some local tourist spots too. The whole experience was above expectations.

Gihan is a great host. His communication was spot on. Booked the place for couple days and had a great time. Everything on here is accurate. Place is very close to the beach and a 10 min drive or tuk tuk ride to the best hotels in colombo. Will stay again in the future and recommend to close friends.

very clean and well-equipped apartment... upstairs of a family living below very nice and discreet and present if needed... a unique air conditioning in the room which is paid for and is not reported as such. very close to the big traffic of the city and the sea, but far enough away to sleep properly!!

It was one of the most wonderful vacation trips. We had a vacation with my husband and two children aged 11 and 16. The owner of the Dharshana house is a magnificent man. He was always in touch and answered all questions. The house is located almost on the shore of the Indian Ocean in 1 min walk. All the amenities were available. All necessary household appliances are present in the house. Especially the washing machine helped us out, as children often dirty things and they could be quickly refreshed. Dharshana and his wife were very kind and welcoming. In addition, they organized a trip for my family to the elephant nursery and the nine-arch bridge, we visited the highest waterfall and got acquainted with monkeys. The children were delighted. Our family has become friends with Dharshana and his wife and we continue to communicate. We are glad that we have friends in Sri Lanka and we will definitely come back to them again.

Superb place. Had a great stay here. The hospitality was very warming. The security was excellent as well in the premises. The basic amenities like the grocery store, money exchange, restaurants are just on walking distance. I highly recommend this place to stay.

If I had to describe my stay at this apartment in one word, it would be ‘perfection’. I visited with my mom and an aunt and this apartment was perfect for the three of us. The location was amazing. The interiors were gorgeous. We loved hanging out at the end of each busy day in the cozy living room with the most beautiful views of the lotus tower. As for the facilities: the kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms were spacious, the air conditioning worked well and the beds were very comfy. A huge thanks to Roshan. He was always available as the go-to contact person for questions and was very accommodating of all our requests. Nicola was also an amazing host, for always following up with chat messages on Airbnb despite not being around personally. This apartment made our four day stay in Colombo wonderful. I would book this again in a heartbeat on my next trip to the country.

Great location, spacious apartment, rooftop pool pool overlooking the sea view and gym. Apartment is fitted with all the necessary utilities. There are no interruptions with light — there is a generator. Great fast wifi.

Noel was an excellent host. Check in was a breeze in spite of our late arrival time. The apartment was fantastic in a great location as well. Noel was able to access us with a late check out as well which was greatly appreciated. We loved this place and highly recommended Noel as a host

This is my third time staying at Rehan's place. It's great. I'd definitely recommend to others. If I go back to Colombo, I'll try to stay there again.

For the dehiwala apartment review : The apartment was clean and well presented. We enjoyed watching the sunset each evening from the balconies which all have an ocean view. The location was great, the bedrooms and aircon comfortable and the bathrooms were clean & fresh. The hosts were responsive and flexible giving us a late check-out as there was no booking after us. The assistant organised for check-in and check-in was easy to liaise with.

We had a fantastic time at the appartement. The Caretaker as well as Prajot been super helpful and always been reachable for us. The location of the place is perfect starts with going out for food or shopping as well as the fantastic view. We loved being able to use the spacious and clean pool as Colombo gets really hot during the day. Everything has been absolutely great for us and we would surely stay here again.

It is an amazing place to stay. The apartment is located 2 mins of walking distance from the beach. Has a nice view of the beach from the balconies. There were each balcony for bedrooms and for the living room. The roof top infinity pool is my favorite. Can see the sun set and sun rise from the pool. Since our stay was bit long 5 nights, the host provided extra drinking water and toilet paper. The host is very responsive. Had a good time with my family.

Absolutely loved my stay in this flat. There is so much going for it (so stylish! Private pool! Etc etc) but my top 3 favourite experiences are: seeing the tree canopy when I wake up, followed closely by the kind hospitality of our wonderful host Avishka, and the security and privacy this place offers no matter what time of the night I arrive. It has been magical and an absolute privilege that for a time in my life, I got to call this place my Colombo home.

Jayantha is so kind and easy-going. He always tries to solve the problems when we need help. The apartment is clean, and big enough to stay in. The 1 month experience was so wonderful. Highly recommend anyone who wants to stay in colombo for holidays.

Great place to stay at. We felt at hime immediately and after a montj, we left the place and the ground floor staff with heavy heart. We had a bit of problems to start with, but it was all sorted out soon and it was so comfortable.

We stayed at this place for over two weeks. Host Sudaththa and the manager Lakshanee were responsive and ready to help. Our flight arrived after midnight and the drive from airport was slow due to heavy rain. Lakshanee waited for us to let us in and introduce the facilities. They were also happy to accommodate our request to get some groceries for our immediate needs. The pool on the roof is small but very clean and is set in nice surroundings (can see the ocean from the rooftop). A/c units and fans kept us cool and the generator on standby meant there was no power interruption for more than a few seconds. The security guards were alert even after 19 pm and opened the gate for us when we were a little late to get back. Overall the experience was better than anticipated. The kitchen utensil range is limited but if we had asked I believe what we needed would have been provided. We did not because we only needed to make breakfast and tea there.

Very convientent location for takeaway foods, which I enjoyed during my short stay. Also, being next Marine Drive, I enjoyed morning walk.

It's a decent place in a good location, just 1 minute away from the beach, where you can find multiple restaurants. Apartment is pretty spacious and the view from balcony is amazing at sunset. Overall, it's a quite place, but with open windows you will hear trains horn. The apartment could be cleaner, but it wasn't too bad. There're no more issue with electricity in Sri Lanka and the internet is fast and stable. Raheem was very friendly and helped us check in late in the evening and check out early in the morning.

We arrived late and were let in by the always-helpful 24-hour security. The apartment is spacious and comfortable with sea views and air conditioning. It's very close to the beach and the various restaurants. The rooftop pool is a real asset and a place to relax and watch the sunset after the hustle and bustle of Colombo. The owner kept in touch and was available at all times.
