Bob's Cottage Mansfield

Bob's cottage is a unique, private, self-contained high-country accommodation, located on the historic Delatite Station, a 4,000 acre working farm. It was originally built in the 1930s for Delatite’s first full-time gardener and has recently been renovated. Nestled into the side of a hill, above the Delatite river. The farm cottage has glorious views across pastoral river flats with the ever-changing colours of the mountains as a backdrop. Perfect for a couple’s weekend getaway.

Riverfront + Kayaks, Hot Tub, Sauna + Fire pit

In summer, float down the river in a blow-up tube and on cool nights put your feet up by the wood fire or have a sauna by the river. THIS IS A 2 BEDROOM house which sleeps 6ppl (Entire home). An EXTRA 4 ppl can be accommodated externally to the main house. The A frame hut sleeps two (unheated). An additional 2pp riverside bungalow room with french doors and it’s own deck by the river. Book for 8 people to unlock all rooms. No pets, no parties or camping. Quite after 12am.

Rustic shed house in Merrijig

When people look for a rustic getaway, they often mean 5 star wrapped in corrugated iron. This is not that. This is truly rustic - old timber from the cattleyards line the base of the walls. The bathroom basin is from Nanna's 150 year old house. The tin lining is from the roof of our shearing shed, complete with authentic rust marks. Not suitable for small children due to stairs. Come experience our 'Shed House' - a truly rustic accomodation experience in the High Country.

The house is close to the high country with beautiful views. The apartment is ideal for a small family or couple. Even though it is attached to the house it is very private. All bedding/towels etc. supplied. Guests interested in accessing Mt. Buller for the snow season, mountain biking, bush walking or just taking in the wonderful scenery will find this location ideal. Delatite BnB offers cosy accommodation for couples right on the banks of the beautiful Delatite River in Merrijig. Just a 3-hour drive from Melbourne and 15 minutes from Mansfield, our boutique bed and breakfast provides the perfect getaway in the heart of Victoria's High Country.
