The cottage is located with shared parking next door to a restaurant that we also own; the best wood fired pizza around! Located in the heart of Escanaba's most historical neighborhood, Ogden View Manor is one of many homes built in the area between 1860 and 1900. Timber Barons wanted to live close to the waterfront for convenience when shipping their products. Nearby Ludington Park, on the water’s edge of Little Bay de Noc was home to the original shipping port. A 3rd-floor servant’s quarters and doors with curly maple on one side and quarter-sawn oak on the other are a few features of this home.

If you love tranquil cozy cabins in the woods, you will love Sylvatica Ecolodge! Sylvatica is a latin word meaning "of the forest" and this lodge is exactly that. It's a 4-acre property adjacent to the Hiawatha National Forest with a very diverse mature hardwood forest, a 0.5 acre planted prairie, a pond, woodland plant gardens, and butterfly/hummingbird gardens. The property includes a 0.3 mile long interpretive nature trail explaining the natural environment and history.
