Little Acorn - Shepherds Hut/Lodge - 5* Cyfie Farm

NickRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

Menna was great, always happy to heat the hot tub up for us! The little sleeping pods were comfortable with a really nice bed! And the location was brilliant, not too far from Snowdon which has the most amazing view! We had a fantastic time.

Luxury family hut in Snowdonia with hot tub

LiliRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an amazing stay at erw Glamping, everything was clean and very cosy. We loved using the fire heatet hot tub. The only point I would note is that I wish on the listing it was noted that only a certain amount of wood would be provided. In the future I would bring my own wood as there wasn’t enough provided to heat up the hot tub for the entirety of our stay and to make use of the fire pit. But all in all, had a lovely time. Thank you

Cosy, romantic couples shepherd hut with hot tub

SteveRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Amazing stay. Great location, and very friendly staff. Shepherds hut was lovely and comfortable, with everything you need. Communal toilets were also nice and clean. Only very minor annoyance (and I’m being very picky here) was a bit of a queue for the loos in the mornings. Not a big deal as just had to wait a few minutes, but another loo would be good if the site is busy. But highly recommended!

Peaceful Countryside Shepherd’s Hut Conwy

RobertRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a lovely place this was. It is tucked away on a working farm so it is outside of the main town of Conwy however the what3words location was perfect as it took us to the top of the drive. Everything was exactly as described and we had a very pleasant stay. We were even greeted by one of the dogs there. Would happily stay there again.

Cwtch Winnie Shepherd's Hut

AdityaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
I had a wonderful stay at the Shepherd’s Hut. The location is absolutely stunning — the views from the hut are breathtaking, peaceful, and the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The hut itself was cozy, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a relaxing break. Medwyn was a brilliant host — warm, welcoming, and always quick to respond. You can tell he genuinely cares about creating a special experience for his guests. If you’re looking for a tranquil getaway surrounded by beautiful views, I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ll definitely be back!

The Orchard Retreat ‘Ted’s shack’

DanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Steve’s place was very cosy, ideal for a 1 night stay with warm weather as you choose this place for the outside accommodations (the fire pit and hammock, with the lounge shed being a good addition.) There is nowhere you can cook unless you bring a BBQ or use the microwave and the fridge is small but practical. Steve’s service is unmatched, he left balloons for my girlfriend since it was her birthday, gave plenty of options for restaurants in the area, left loads of firewood which kept us going for a few hours. The place was very clean too to bottom and the layout was well thought out. The walls are well insulated so you won’t be cold. Also, the sheep are friendly.

We let ourselves in through the gate as instructed and parked up, Beth came out to greet us and show us around, The hot tub was still filling so the water is definitely changed between every visit. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking pans and utensils and the views are stunning, We stayed for 1 night only but wished we stayed longer, Will definitely return for a longer stay to take in the beautiful surroundings. Thank You Beth for a lovely and relaxing trip x

Meadow View

Diane and Adrian provided us with the most perfect, peaceful stay for our weekend away. The hut was spotless and had every amenity we could need whilst feeling homely and cosy. The outdoor space was very well kept and had the luxurious extra of a big hot tub/firepit either bbq area. The stay was made extra special by the service that was provided. Adrian was available on check in to welcome us and show us how everything worked, with the hot tub pre-heated for our arrival. 10/10 will definitely return.

Hot Tub Retreat Bryn Gwyn (Welsh Border Glamping)

TomRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful shepherd’s hut on the Welsh border. The setting was idyllic, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Situated on a peaceful farm, with sheep, lambs and geese made it for a perfect getaway. The location was fantastic - peaceful and secluded, yet within 30 minutes’ drive of so many lovely places to explore. Being dog-friendly was a huge plus for us, and our pup loved the scenic walks in the area. The hut itself was spotlessly clean, cosy, and decorated with charm. Helen was an incredible host, going above and beyond by leaving us thoughtful gifts to celebrate our anniversary, which made the stay feel even more special. Additionally, the hot tub was spotless and a dream to relax in after a day out exploring. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. We’ll definitely be back!

The Fold - idyllic remote riverside shepherd’s hut

ImogenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This place was incredible. Actually secluded with no other shepherd huts around- we didn't see a single other person our whole stay (perfect for our nervous dog). The hut itself was beautiful and we loved seeing the sheep every day and listening to the birds. The wood fired hot tub was also great. We cannot wait to come back!

Cosy hut on wild Welsh hillside.

AgnieszkaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
A perfect stay for a well-needed quiet weekend. The hut is so cosy, with a lovely log burner inside and an outdoor fire pit that’s ideal for chillier evenings. The peaceful surroundings are stunning with farm animals around the hut (great addition especially for kids). There’s a handy local shop just a couple of minutes’ drive away. It was perfect for picking up essentials to cook your own meals. Sarah was a fantastic host - friendly, helpful, and quick to respond to any questions. We’d 100% recommend and would love to return!

Luxury Secluded Shepherd's hut Offas Dyke Trefonen

JaneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Tranquil and beautifully scenic - a perfect escape for walkers and nature lovers. The shepherd’s hut is tucked among trees with a fire pit, cut grass area, and wild meadow beyond. It’s well laid out and fully equipped (fridge, hob, kettle, utensils), with plenty of power sockets and a surprisingly strong phone signal. Just a short walk away is a clean compost loo and a shower in a tin shed - rustic but spotless. We were able to bring our three dogs, which made the stay even more special. William provided clear directions, with good signage from the road. A 4x4 is essential, but this was made very clear. On arrival, we found fresh eggs, milk, and bread - a godsend as we’d forgotten essentials. The nearest shop is a fair distance, so it’s worth coming prepared. All in all, a peaceful, well-thought-out stay in a beautiful setting - our first shepherd’s hut experience, and a great one.

Shepherds Hut with a View! Relaxing secluded haven

BethRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Both Natalie and her partner (and her gorgeous dog) were so welcoming from the get-go. Gave us all of the necessary information and happy to have a chat with us in the morning! The shepherds hut itself is absolutely stunning and the views are amazing! Perfect way for my friend and I to relax, unwind and get a good night's sleep after 4 nights of camping in the wind and rain. Highly recommend and will definitely be looking to stay again in the future.
