Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Denmark

One if the best travel experiences we’ve ever had. Marie was the perfect host, and her place was incredibly charming, peaceful, and cozy. The setting was beautiful, and we felt like we had our own little world to ourselves. But if we wanted to get out and explore, the guide book was full of great recommendations. We would love to stay again and recommend it highly to anyone.

We had a great stay in the cozy house. The ceilings and doors are pretty low, so when you are a bit taller, watch your head when crossing doors! Jokes aside, it was lovely and we recommend. :) And the best thing: you walk 10 min to the beach.

Just perfect for our stay. Lots of space, warm & cosy, beautiful house, safe for our bikes and the option to purchase a few supplies from the little shop in the house.

Auch beim zweiten Besuch waren wir begeistert. Das Haus, mit dem wunderschönen Blick auf das Meer ist einfach traumhaft. Wir haben mit den vorhandenen Kajaks tolle Ausflüge auf dem Vejle Fjord unternommen, Schweinswale beobachtet und die Gegend zu Fuß und mit dem Auto erkundet. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht. Die Küchenausstattung ist super und auch der Whirlpool zu jeder Tageszeit genial. Wir lieben es dort und werden sicherlich wieder kommen. Ole als Gastgeber ist auch sehr sehr zuvorkommend und super freundlich in der Kommunikation.

Ein sehr schönes Strandhaus, in einer ruhigen Ecke Lage Dänemarks. Ein idealer Ort, um runterzukommen und vom Wohnzimmer aus stundenlang das Meer zu beobachten, während man liest und den Regen aufs Dach prasseln hört. Tolles Haus mit schönem Garten, morgens hat uns eine Reh mit Kitz im Garten besucht. Sehr unkomplizierte Gastgeber, die ihren Gästen eine sehr schöne Unterkunft zur Verfügung stellen.

Wir hatten eine fantastische Woche in diesem wunderschönen Strandhaus! Die moderne und stilvolle Einrichtung hat uns sofort begeistert – alles ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und wirkt sehr hochwertig. Der Ausblick auf das Meer ist einfach atemberaubend, auch einfach vom Sofa aus. Die Lage ist absolut einzigartig – direkt am Strand, wunderbar ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Ein echtes Highlight war der holzbefeuerte Hot Tub auf der Terrasse – gerade abends ein traumhaftes Erlebnis unter dem Sternenhimmel. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in Katjas Sommerhaus und können es nur jeder Person empfehlen die auf der Suche nach Erholung und stilvollem Ambiente ist. Es ist alles da was man braucht, ansonsten sind Feuerholz und Supermarkt nicht weit :)

Das Haus ist genau wie beschrieben. Tolle Lage am Wasser mit Privatweg zur Flensburger Förde. Schöner Wanderweg vor der Haustür, der am Wasser entlang führt. Im Haus sind alle Utensilien für einen schönen Aufenthalt. Wir haben das lange Wochenende sehr genossen!

Yvonnes appartement is smaakvol ingericht. Ondanks de ligging aan de grote weg heb je daar totaal geen last van. We waren op doorreis van Zweden naar Nederland en het was gewoon de perfecte plek om even op adem te komen. Yvonne is een hartelijke host die er alles aan doet om het haar gasten naar de zin te maken. Opvallend: het beddengoed is en de handdoeken roken heerlijk! Leuk: er stonden een flesje wijn en twee zakjes chips klaar. ❤️

Charlotte ist eine sehr nette Gastgeberin gewesen, eine Frohnatur, die man jederzeit um Rat fragen kann. Ihr Hund und meiner, haben sich fast auf Anhieb verstanden :) Kann das Haus wirklich nur jeden empfehlen, der mal abschalten will. gerne wieder und mit freundlichen Grüßen. David und Inka

Fantastic three night stay during our cycle bikepacking odyssey. Clean and functional, we made our own dinner sourcing food from the Osterlars supermarket 2 km along the adjacent cycleway. Lots of info available of what todo, suggestions. Highly recommend

This was the best AirBNB place we have ever stayed at. I cannot even believe it is available on AirBNB. It is in an historic building attached in a row house to the old kings Palace. It is basically attached to the current winter palace. You stand outside the front door and watch the Royal Guards standing guard all night. They march right in front of the place every day during the changing of the guards - amazing to watch from open bedroom windows. The places is huge and beautiful. You get the feeling that your staying in the house of one of the past kings best friends. It's beautifully restored, has a traditional noble feel with very nice modern trendy lighting. You can see the old kings palace and the roof of the current queens palace from the kitchen. The bathroom is amazing. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are Cozy. The host Den is amazing and friendly., I highly recommend his private boat tour if available.

En fornøjelse at overnatte i en delikat, velindrettet og smagfuld lejlighed med den smukkeste udsigt. Alt fungerede og køkkenet var meget veludrustet.

It was a very nice to stay at Bjarne‘s place for us. The location is super as you can easily walk to the old town (just around 7 - 9 minutes walk). Netto is nearby so you can buy anything you need. You will stay upstair with 3 rooms (kitchen, toilet, and living room plus sleeping room). Parking is behind the house, there will be a sign of parking place and you can parl for free for 48 hours if you do not love your car. Bjarne is very friendly and he responded to our message very quick. I would love to stay at his place again.

Huset kan varmt anbefales til en ferie med børn, da der er plads og faciliteter for dem at lege på. Annie er en venlig og hjælpsom og vært, hvilket bidrager til et behageligt ophold.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in der Sunset Lodge und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig und man hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und gemütlich. Ein rundum gelungener Aufenthalt :)

Jullies hus ligger et meget smukt og ugenert sted. Her er virkelig rart at være, og vi ville gerne have haft et længere ophold. Meget anbefalelsesværdigt.

We had a wonderful stay at Morten’s summer house! The place is beautifully furnished with stylish design pieces that make the entire space feel both modern and cozy. The sauna and jacuzzi were immaculate — a true highlight of our stay, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Everything was so well thought out, and we instantly felt at home. It was the perfect relaxing getaway — highly recommended!

The Blue House was a great for 7 adults and a 6 year old. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor space for everyone. We enjoyed sunny mornings on the deck looking at the sea, beach combing, and relaxing in the sauna. The bedrooms were large and comfortable. Photos of the living areas did not do them justice. Kitchen had all the necessities for cooking family meals and baking. We appreciated the communication and a late checkout was really helpful. We would return.

Vi havde den dejligste Kristi Himmelfartsweekend på Vestergaard med Kirsten som vært. Det hele gik super nemt. Stuehuset er meget charmerende renoveret og med mange gode rum, hvor man nemt kan sove mange. Køkkenet er veludrustet og alt fungerer som det skal. Vestergaard er også meget praktisk placeret, hvis man har bil/cykel med. Man er placeret midt på øen, så alle kanter af Ærø kan nås med kort afstand. Kæmpe anbefaling herfra.

We had a beautiful, relaxed stay at Claus's summerhouse. The location is perfect, with a train station and stunning beach both within a 5 minute walk. The house itself is more than spacious enough for the number it sleeps, and the cleanliness was excellent. Beds and facilities are all very comfortable - however some patience is needed for hot water. We spent most of our time in the garden, which is also spacious and has plenty to keep you occupied. The garden/back of the house are south facing so they receive sun all day. Claus is pleasant and responsive. The kitchen had plenty of cupboard goods. We will definitely come back to this Airbnb for future summerhouse getaways :)

The vacation in Rene's Home was perfect. He was very friendly and when we had any problems he helped directly. E.g. the toaster wasn't working so within shortest amount of time he provided a new one. He Had helpful Tips for activities around and is a perfect host. The House is luxurious and has Everything for a nice stay. The Sunset which can be watched from the Whirlpool and the Main Pool ist stunning. The terrace offers a Superior View on one of the biggest dunes and most visited lighthouses in denmark 40 mins of Walking distance away - no building in between, quiet and sorrounded by beautiful Wildlife. we even Had a friendly fox around who was Roaming the fields around at one evening. Kitchen is big and well aided. The oven added to the chill evenings, you can buy firewood on many locations near by. So Just a perfect vacation in denmark with perfect accomodation and Host.
